[3.24] Volatile Dead | CwC | Inquisitor | No Mana Balancing just pure CwC

do this build use doryanis timeless jewel or just goes like that ?
Ok, so I am out for this league.
I have proven the build works fine as before, but harder content.
As there is basically no change to the mechanics / skills / etc. and no interesting new items and league mechanic is boring enough, I will skip this league now.
HI Everyone don't know if anyone is still active in this thread, but for some silly reason I rolled a random die and I'm going to try this build for a bit.

Any reason why we are stacking CRIT with CwC?

I haven't played in a long time however I had previously thought that non crit magic fire based builds usually ended with more damage? Than ones stacking crit.

I don't see CoC being used anywhere in this build is it just a leftover build with CwC switched out for CoC?

Give the build two closer looks...

First - Gifts from Above
Second - Inquisitor Ascendacies

This creates a synergy of (almost) perma Consecrated and 0% ele resist mobs depending on your crit chance.
I can only speak for myself but I had the smoothest and fastest leveling this time around. Which is to say something since it's usually a slog when I pick this build.

I partially blame it on having Lilly in the HO and being able to buy all gems at the correct levels instead of when the quests happened, if we even got the correct gems from the quests.

Started with Spark, picked Holy Flame Totem. At level 8 added all three 'added damage' gems (fire/cold/lightning) which turned HFT into a decent force. At 12 I moved to Storm Burst and it was fire. Blew through the levels so fast I had often 3-4 unspent points.

Picked Clarity and Vitality, though had to turn off the later in order to fit Skitterbots and Herald of Ash (ran to Sovereignty and was able to fit everything).

By level 18-ish damage was flagging a bit but a Replica Tasalio's Sign ring at level 20 combined with Skitterbots (these two gotta go together) and damage soared again. I was killing Einar's red beasts before they could spawn all waves and killed the last boss at the pyramid after only just one dip.

At 28 I dropped Storm Burst and Holy Flame Totem to try Cyclone, though the damage was worse (made up by just spinning through mobs to my objectives.

Picked The Storm Heart for my leveling weapon, slotted Cyclone, Shockwave, Infused channeling, Melee Physical Damage, Added Fire Damage and Impale. Damage felt a bit lower than just Storm Burst and HFT but still palatable.

Looking back I feel I would have done better picking and sticking to a second Replica Taselio's Sign instead of grabbing Gifts from Above.
Just a few quick questions:

Why the frog do you use 2 Sulphur flasks in your Mageblood PoB ? They don't stack.

Why do you use Atziris as your 5th flask instead of Bottled faith ?
(you could replace bismuth and your 2 sulphur flasks with normal res flasks).

Why do you use a Jade flask if you don't focus on evasion ?

Why did you set vd to 18x if its maximum is 12 (3x4, 3 is the base spell limit and 4 is from asc).

The HP and ES numbers seem nice, but i have my doubts about simple 75% ele res (while light is only 7% overcapped).

Why Widowsilk base body armour instead of Vaal Regalia ?

Where is the Glorious Vanity with the Doryani Keystone so that you can fully use your ES + HP regen ?

Why the Added Light Damage in your Riposte Weapon setup ?
I feel like Empower or Enhance would do more for your curse.
Looking at the damage numbers I'd also go for Punishment instead of Enfeeble.

I also think that you might have some trust issues due to how much you've focussed into Conc Ground creation and uptime, I'd suggest using a movement speed skill that has a short animation, such as frost blink or shield charge every 4s so that you have permanent uptime on the conc ground effect.

I suggest going for some more rare Rings with some Resistances and reduced mana cost as your mana cost of VD is quite large.

You could also replace one Flask with a Diamond flask and replace the inc crit chance support with inc crit dmg or Inspiration for the mana cost.

I would also look for more Res as you're not curse immune and one shrine exposure choice leaves you with 67% Light Res.

I do love that you're using Frost Bomb, it's a skill that's often forgotten.

If you play this build you might consider 2 changes:

1. Switch 2nd flat armour flask for Cinderswallow with life & ES reg
Huge boost to survivability and clear speed while mapping. And its basically up all the time due to VD corpse consume.

2. Drop the Riposte setup for a 5/6L Holy Relic setup
Since cast on block gems are so inconsistent if you don't have fucktons of block i switched it for a 5l relic setup with culling and predator support for more single target. This gives you really good clear speed (dmg and aoe cull) and good life reg. You lose the curse setup but due to the block shenenigans it was inconsistent anyway.
I would like to see you both's PoBs with the changes. New ways of building is always welcome and more heads together cover flaws not noticed or that can be fixed.
any way to boost dps?

I did a similar Build but as Cast on Crit on Playstation and thought you could benefit from some ideas:

Coc is better than CwC in this case in my opinion because you get so much Critchance as Inquisitor wielding a Staff.
Also almost free Endurance Charges (I chose brutality charges).

The self igniting combo of Eye of Innocence and Mokous Embrace gives you a ton of benefits as well like cwdt+purifiying+combustion for permanent conc ground without stopping, cwdt+wave of conviction for permanent debuffing and cwdt+blood rage+ice golem so you never have to stop for anything.
Because youre hitting yourself all the time, vengeance procs almost every second and can be used to generate Power Charges, Rage and culling strikes.
+ It gives 100% uptime for Sublime Visions 15% life regeneration.

Sitting at around 6k life + 3,5k ES, 2k net life regen + 2k net es regen and up to 14 mil dps, depending on buffs.

Shaper, Uber Elder, Exarch and Eater down deathless, Maven down but not deathless due to memory game.
Cost was about 50 ex on Playstation but some items like Sublime Vision are 10ex+ on Playstation and 1 ex on PC so ild guess ~30 ex on PC.

The self-igniting part could fit well into your cwc build, giving it a huge QoL buff :)
