+2 Duration Fleshcrafter is 25% more DPS for skeles. It will cost 16ex to get +2 Duration Fleshcrafter and about 10ex to buy fuse + vaal to link it.

You don't necessarily have to buy a helm with level 20 on both Hypothermia and Minion Damage. That kind of minmax can tripple the cost of the helm.
A +3 Hypo/Minion Dmg helm without an open prefix costs ~8 ex or so on the low end. Granted, it only has 16/16 instead of 20/20 so it's effectively 8% less damage. But still more than viable. Same thing goes for a helm with an open prefix. Those helms are 14 ex or more depending on the level of the support gems.

With that said, I do think a +2 duration chest should in theory beat out a 7-link minion helm. The reason is because you've got space for more Awakened Gems.

A minion helm is basically a 6-link with +3

If you have a +2 Duration Flesh crafter it'll also be a 6-link with +3 as you get +2 from the corruption and +1 from Awakened Minion dmg.

So on that basis, both options should be equal in terms of strength. (Though Awakened Minion dmg has 5% more dmg multiplier than a minion helm already making it stronger)
Fleshcrafter however, comes with the added benfit of allowing you to choose which other support gems to run. Hypothermia is a decent support gem but it's not one of the biggest multipliers for damage you can get as a lvl 20 Hyporhermia only would grant 29% more damage.

But if we're only looking for Multipliers, a Fleshcrafter could run Awakened Ele focus for 39% more damage which is 10% more than lvl 20 Hypothermia(Though it would remove shock from lightning mage so might be worse), Dmg on Full Life which is 34% more damage, Increased Crit Dmg if you're scaling crit with Brittle boots et.c.

The benefit of running a Minion Helm is that it would potentially save you 2 sockets. However, those sockets will mostly go to boosting your Animate Guardian defenses anyway so you don't really gain much.
But a +2 Duration Fleshcrafter should in theory be more dps than a minion helm. It's when the minion helm gets more damage mods like 30% more ele dmg corruption mod or 4% crit chance that it becomes stronger.

This is updated version of skele mages. The build uses Purity of Elements to get ele ailment immunity, but you can use zealotry instead (about 30% more DPS).

Right! Helmet is best option if you are rich and can metacraft a high end helmet.

I think 16/16 or 16/18 has less or same DPS than basic Fleshcrafter, right? @kidafrankenstein just has 10ex, so he will spend all currency to get less or same DPS.

Other problem is what to do with sockets? Normally for Fleshcrafter we use 4b2g and swap LMP/Volley to Hypo, but helmet already has hypo. Do you just have 1g? LMP/Volley without Pierce is pretty bad for mapping. So need to get white socket... it's an extra cost to think about.

If you move AG to the body, you lose the +3 gem/Minion life from helmet and need empower and minion life gems instead so nothing changed :\

I have personally found just chain to be much more practical the wasting sockets for both pierce and LMP. Since it qurantees extra hits from each cast unlike the pierce+LMP

Can anyone help me i can`t get my mana to 7% mine is sitting at -1% with all auras and curses.

Only think i think of it I`m using Item Class: Support Skill Gems

Enlighten Support level 3 on boots with +1 gems to sockets.
