Mask will give a lot of life regen. Leer give 15% increased damage.

As occultist, my AG is doing fine with Kingmaker/Garb of the Ephemeral/Southbound/Victario/Rare helmet with "-chaos resist" aura and fire/lightning resist. The most important defense layer is to kill things faster then they can damage your AG.

Usually I unsummon him before dangerous areas like Sirus/Maven Invitations/Maven/HOGM/Simulacrum, because I've lost too many AGs over the years there. These are the kind of areas where now your AG is full HP, next second you've finished the fight and wonder where did your AG go.

I am tired of skeletons, zombies, SRS etc

I made a quick test build with a low cost golemancer.
The build can handle T16 with rare gear + 2x clayshaper. I also used Maw of Mischief to make golems aggressive without Primordial Might. You can see it in this video: https://youtu.be/V9fEmqJAxLo?t=86

Build starts the same as Minion Army Necro, then get Carrion and Stone in act 4. You also take Elementalist ascendancy and Liege. Run the golems as 2 + 1, then 3 + 1 when you get Elemancer. I think skele + golems is a good combo (so drop SRS).

I'm not sure if I can make a guide for it, so maybe just a build planner

Seems like crit damage? I was actually thinking maybe Brass Dome is better than Garb for protecting the AG because Garb is 'nearby enemies can't crit' vs 'take no extra damage from crit'. So if the crit is from outside 'nearby' then he will die.

i got a mask for 4ex, put it on him and he died half way through sirus this time. have the gem in boots and it has +3 global on the gem.

have to run without him for a while till i get more currency to gear him again

Garb + Rare helmet is just my greedy setup, for maximum auras.

Brass Dome is great for tankiness, but it does not offer anything to the other minions. We only need "more tankiness" in specific fights, which we know exactly when they occur (eg. use specific fragments in map device), so we can unsummon the AG. 95%+ of time we run random maps, where a less tanky AG with more auras is still full HP permanently.

Mine has Kingmaker, Mask of the Stitched Demon, Belly of the Beast, Atziri's Step and Oskarm to reduce his chaos res as i have some from tree for my other minions.

And he's in a helmet with "supported by level 16 Minion Life" and linked with Meat Shield Support and level 4 Enchance support for total of 44% quality that on a Divergent Animate Guardian gives 88% increased life.

This version is based on my character from Ziz gauntlet, so it's HC SSF viable.

no clue how he died. he was there one second and gone the next.

meat shield is now in. still need to get another stitched demon to finish AG gear
