[3.23 Cold Conversion Blade Vortex Elementalist / Occultist (League Starter + League Finisher)
I've done the Uber Bosses with this build, most recently it took like 40 divines for everything except the Uber Uber Elder which took like 60. The survivability isn't a strength of the build by default, but it can definitely be built that way by sacrificing some of the more than plentiful damage.

I've seen that you added heatshiver to your character. How is it performing with that? I've heard it's pretty broken
Also, one question if u will :) I'm thinking about switching to occultist before the "tanking up" phase. Would that be a bad time or is it ok to do this? Последняя редакция: guidulove. Время: 18 апр. 2023 г., 3:06:11

Hi Chronic
Did you do ubers on this league char? It seems really bad, I struggle doing t14+ with my build, char is so slow, isnt ail nor curse immune and i cant kill most of yellow mobs on t14 + from expedition or essences. I think I'm as good as early endgame pob but cannot reach this build's potential at all. Thinking about rerolling, maybe it's not for me. Any tips what can i change? Don't want to give up before it works | |
" Heatshiver is really good as long as you don't incorporate it too early. If you can't reliably freeze target, it's going to feel much much worse than a helm that provides more attribute/resists/mana reservation efficiency. If you don't mind a glass-cannon style, you can certainly rush the Occultist. I often do that myself because that's the style I prefer, but it's fun to be tanky too. |

" The last loadout in the guide probably wouldn't be enough for Uber Pinnacles unless you're prepared to do some serious gaming, it's meant to be a jumping off point for further investment/specialization, and if Uber Bossing was your goal there'd be certain things you'd want to do that a pure mapper wouldn't. You're at the phase of the build where you need to respect map mods/remnants/essences, etc. In general try to avoid anything that makes the monsters harder to freeze. There's a system in the guide for alch/scouring maps, and the same thing applies to remnants and the like. |

Hey guys,
I'm begging for you help. I ain't professional or advanced player by any means, I was dreaming to try BV build for very long time and decided that this is it. I've reached yellow maps and late map stage of the build by now, but oh boy, either I'm retarded piece of human (which is very possibly), or I don't know what to think. I'm trying my best to copy paste what POE suggesting, and I want to believe that I did quite decent job, but performance of the build is ridicules. I've been raped in the ass and mouths simultaneously when I first sniff tier 11 map. I barely can handle yellow maps with more than four mods. Please, explain me my mistakes, or give me direction to think. I genuinely cannot understand what are the defence layers of this build, how can I boost my survivability. Thank you in advance. |

" If you post your build in the build discussion on the discord, someone will take a look at it (possibly me). The issue of feeling weaker in late maps that you're facing isn't uncommon, but having it be as bad as you're describing definitely indicates that something is wrong. Also consult the notes section if you haven't yet. |

Great build, been blasting maps with the occultist version. I've gotten to the point where I am considering forbidden jewels. As occultist I am looking at elementalist nodes. Convergence is the best but it's too expensive. Mastermind of discord is nice for more exposure. Idk about shaper of winter, more slow and more effect of cold ailments sounds nice but maybe too excessive. Elemental aegis also sounds good for this build which can be considered squishy when mobs aren't frozen. Any thoughts?

" I'd consider shaper of storms as well, giving yourself the ability to shock can be really powerful and outperforms exposure at higher budgets. Shaper of winter is lackluster, at best it's a boost to your bonechill that's as effective as a 10% shock. Aegis is great for survivability of course. |
