I'm curious too. I knew Heatshiver wouldn't be cheap, but even the boots are expensive at the moment. Has to be a similar spell build that is using these uniques. PS Mines???

I took a look at ALL the gear and it is overpriced at the moment. It's not the build, it has to be the market. There will be a point hopefullly today or tomorrow where prices adjust.

I dropped zero tabula cards...
Anyway, farmed Heist a bit and it is fine now.

Nicely done. I'm farming white maps right now, but hoping to get some kind of upgrade tonight. May save up to go directly for a Heatshiver. Dmg is what is currently holding me down, but still tolerable.

Idols are kind of a mess. Doing all kinds of content I hate, but at some point the good stuff will come.

Lvl 21/20 icicle is just 50 chaos atm.

Was lucky to drop a div in A8, had a late start. With the basic gear, the build slaps hard once again in maps. Good stuff.

The build is great, however with 7K HP I still get oneshots at T16 sometimes
Also bleeding and poison are very dangerous
I use Ignite Pantheon and Immune to Corrupted Blood jewel

Although maybe it was because I hadn't 100% spell suppress because 10% comes when you're full life and with Dissolution you never on full life.

I am not sure there are upgrades besides +2 amulet/wand (will not exist on event I assume), +9 boots (same) and mageblood (I don't feel like farming it in 1 month event).

The build is never very tanky. But it can be a great mapper at its highest levels.

As for gear, you hit the highlights. The double corrupted boots are a massive upgrade. Out of all possible options I personally would target those.

The idol system isn't bad. But I'm realizing that a slower, tankier build can be effective in this event and am thinking about trying something different to match those kinds of mechanics. As you said, farming a MB for a one month event isn't worth it. Probably better to play this to the reasonable upgrade point and farm for the next build.
