[3.25] Tarekis' Facetank Flicker Trickster - Ultra Tanky All-Rounder - CI ES Stacker
Hello,
a very long time ago i was flickering - and now i was curious how it is in 3.25 and give it a try. But there is an problem... Sometimes it works just fine but than... i hit the skill-button and nothing happens. I tested it with 100 free mana, now iam at 164 free mana but this might not be the problem. The char ist standing still and it looks like he is doing something, but the mobs dont get any dmg at all. The tested maps didnt had cooldown recovery or something tricky. Does anybody have an idear why this happens? |

You're running out of charges maybe?
I had the same problem once I started using this build, now it feels smoother once I got used to the gameplay. | |
Very good point, but how do i get more charges?!
I have all the "on hit" and "on kill" notes i could pick. |
|
Frenzy of onslaught is one way to get them and basically don't run maps where enemies can steal charges.

the only way of getting more charges (max) is getting items with +1 maximum charges. They are extremely expensive though. There's basically no issue with mapping/bossing with the base 8 charges we already have.

Hey! That's my 2nd attempt at flicker strike and damn this one feels good. Thanks for the detailed guide.
Can I get quick advice there? I feel good with my current DPS (although it's low comparing to my 240m hexblast lmao) but is there a way to still improve it? Overall build is very enjoyable and even T17 feel decent (both regarding tankiness & DPS) but still I feel like I'm missing something crucial (besides 3 levels to max, lvl 21 auras and Awakened Multistrike) https://pobb.in/xcOEIopgO9PB Thanks! Is it too hard to switch from Flicker Strike to Lightning Strike with this build? Is it as simple as a single gem switch or is there more to it?

Many thanks for this detailed build guide Tarekis. Levelling a slightly scuffed version in SSF at the moment.
As far as I understand it should work like this: - Enemy startsat e.g. 30% resist. If you invert only this becomes -30% - If you also apply exposure (lets say 10%), then the enemy resistance becomes 20% and-20% when inverted. In this case wouldn't "damage for int", "phys convert" or "lightning leech" be better? Edit: never mind, just played around with some numbers. As the chance is only 25% it's not quite so simple. Turns out it IS worse against monsters with little resistance, but as soon as a mob has some best resistance, it is better - i.e. against rares & bosses where damage actually matters! I have to admit - this is the best build I played so far, and I've been playing since 2013. It's tanky AF and lets me play witout paying much attention, and the dmg is actually there with how tanky it is. I played TS rangers with twice the budget in the past and never felt so comfy. Kudos!
