Path of Exile 2 Delayed Three Weeks

At least I didn't take three days off work or anything... o wait.

While I'm sure we all can't wait to dive into the new game, I for one am extremely appreciative that you guys are taking the time to do it right, something that is oft sorely lacking in games these days. Good on the lot of you :)

I understand all the reasons and think that's the right call too, but...
I was kinda hyped, made plans and even took my last vacation, which I cannot move anymore... wished I had this news like 1 month earlier.
Dunny why, but it always kills all my hype and motivation, if a delay happens right before a release :(

So, pardon me for being stupid but this Early Access is essentially a Beta? It won't be the full game?

The full release to most of us poor players that haven't spent hundreds of dollars, will be at some unspecified date in 2025?

More like 2026 for full release imo.
And you don't need to spend hundreds for early access, it'll most likely be in cheapest supporter pack for $30, we'll see in a month.

Essentially yes, although a) there is supposed to be a normally-priced supporter pack to gain early access and b) who knows, the way it's been going, the full release might not even be in 2025, but 2026+.
