You introduced PoE2 saying it would be integrated in the core game that me and so many others love. Then you went and said that PoE2 would be a separate game, changing the core foundation of the game and our mindsets completely (for me for the worse). And you forced PoE2 down our throats while announcing new leagues with twitch chat screaming to introduce the new PoE1 league.

That would all be okay since you promised us that there would be separate teams working on both games and that you would be able to make this work without mishaps regarding leagues and timelines. That's the second promise of many that you broke.

We're now stuck in a league for 7 months without new content - one league lasting longer than the other, the closer to PoE2 we're getting. We used to have a new end game every year previously.

I do not care when PoE2 comes out. I understand there are people who do, but instead of ruining the experience for the guys that love this game (PoE1), and that made PoE2 possible to begin with, don't neglect our passion that we have for this game by making PoE1 a worse game just to implement new things that are completely seperate from what we love.

I dont understand it. You have the best game ever created in this genre - by far! What is the reason for all of this? I simply dont get it. If PoE2 becomes a great game - great! - but take your time to develop it, because there's is no rush a long as you bring out new content and patches for PoE1. Now we're instead at a standstill where PoE1 gets less content, leagues get longer, and where promises about PoE2 keeps breaking - It's a lose/lose situation, and on top of that, we lose interest in both games simultaneously.

I hope you take the time to read all these messaged in this forum until 2025, and really try to understand what it is that your fanbase wants, because this is not it.
