It's the leagues after with the archnemesis mods that were trash but AN in itself was very good. archnemesis was considered "ok". it launched with siege of the atlas expansion which was a banger and that is what is remembered. the actual league was pretty mid. but yes, the archnemesis problems actually appeared in later leagues and ruined sentinel league for me. a very fun league mechanic that came with cancerous archnemesis mods.
