According to the PoE2 wiki chaos damage does not bypass ES anymore, it "only" deals double damage to ES.
Poison and bleeding* however bypasses ES.

Some feedback:

About node 5, Quicksand Hourglass: I don't know anyone in this game who enjoys rolling buffs. I would rather have a nerfed node that gives a constant 15% more cast speed instead.

I recommend you review the pick-rate of ascendancy nodes which have given rolling buffs in PoE 1. I'm certain they're very unpopular.

totally agree about that node. every single time they've tried something like this is feels terrible regardless of it's power. I'd 100% rethink that node and try something else in it's place
