Hi, just wanted to say ive been following your build since day 2. Im trying to build it the same way as you as it inspired me alot. I really like the idea of the boner blood mage. I am looking forward to seeing you post a full guide for it. Right now its been kinda hard to follow, and i had to change most of my stat allocation to dex to be able to use the boots you've mentioned and the combat frenzy spirit gem. You got any tips on how to get more Dex? will it make my build any worse not being able to allocate those points into strenght?

I can highly recommend the momentum support on bonestorm. 40% more, for doing something I was going to do anyways. It activates before you can even finish charging up a full volley.

Sorry if this has already been answered but with the Resonance node, what replaces your Power Siphon wand? Is there anything that synergises as well as that did?

Something Ive tested and found a pretty fun combination for defensive layers is the Demon stitcher gloves. At least early on (only in a3) It fully restores your ES every cast and since we are a channel build its not proccing so often that it kills us!

" Hi, ill keep it short just to adress your questions. 1. I havent tested much since the base number is high already, so its not that worth the investment as other skills with one proj. but all supports and tree nodes etc. should work. I just wonder if +3 proj would add them to minimum or maximum number of bones. Maybe someone could answer that. 2.The only way I found is Fork Support. It focuses all bones on one point and upon hitting the target spreads them aroun so it boosts both AoE and single target. From my experience, unless there is some other way to reduce spread, just dont cast 100% on targets that are too small for all proj to hit. 3. I think just stacking a lot of Cast Speed, would make it feel better. Im casting like twice as fast comparing to what I began with and doesnt feel clunky at all. As for the charge generation, feel free to check out my previous reply as I generate them through Cast on Minion Death. My method doesnt work with bosses that dont spawn adds tho (no corpses), but there is a support gem that lets you use the minions as corpses that I will most likely experiment with to check if this is more consistent. |

Skimmed through the thread but didn't find anything on this.
HUGE QoL people not picking up is the "% chance for spell skills to fire 2 additional projectiles" You get Psychic Fragmentation where we already path, the whole node branch gives you 32% chance. The nodes behind Turn the clock forwards give you another 18%. So 50% chance to get scattershot with no damage or cast downside is insaaane, actually able to drop scattershot entirely. A tech on this: The actual chance only rolls on cast, so either you get 2 extra proj for the whole cast per tick, or you get regular projectiles. So you can kind of quickly cast and see if it procs, if not you release and cast again, so you actually get like 75-80% uptime once you get the hang of it. Последняя редакция: lufesg#0377. " Now that you say it, indeed, switching heft on and off doesnt show any change in tooltip dmg atleast. i just tought it increases skills maximum dmg by 30% (i mean like 150-450 dmg w/o, with heft 150-600 dmg). Nice observation, now i can swap inspiration back in :D |

" Helo, Exile :) Tbh I started as ED Contagion and had a little existential crisis after getting to Cruel since the damage becomes zDPS. Although I built mine very differently your, build defo inspired me to try boner stormer.Seemed very clunky initially, then I made it work pretty well and just wanted to share with ppl, maybe the could solve their problems with that. I know my playstyle is not for everyone, I am essentially playing like 3 minigames of culling, gathering blood orbs and gathering ES remnants all while kiting and casting, but Ive been having a blast. I initially wanted to do the Resonance set up, even bought the shoes but couldnt do with the crazy Dex requirement. Did minions in the meantime and works very well apart from bosses that dont spawn ads. Because of that i left it as, 1 charge every 6 or 7 second doesnt seem fast enough for me and stacking more dex seems useless otherwise unless I go all in into evasion. The boots stayed on them does, tho, because Pin turns out do be a really good defensive mechanic. I pin bosses and rares and then Bone them down from save distance. Later, I will try the support that lets you cast on minions instead of corpses and it should solve the problem on bosses. Right now Im more or less in the middle of act 3. Also sceptres obviously, are not the best off-hand dmg or defense wise. But I saw they can grant an aura that increases Crit Chance with hits againts enemies in your presence (Malice). Gonna see how reliable presence thing is, but debuff itself, If it works the same as in PoE1, the +crit chance is added to the base, so on full stack we would have literally 66% more crit chance (mine would be around 75% then) Im also thinking of replacing the Spell Leech node since im running around with full life 97% of the time anyway and if Im not I use a potion anyway. Also, pretty sure they will buff Bloodmage in some way, as spell costs later on get really crazy and HP is very hard to scale, unlike mana. Anyway GL and HF. Ill keep ppl here updated if I find sth big. |
