Heart of Ice, granted by the Whispering Ice Unique Staff: Now Chills enemies in your Presence as though dealing 26-888 to 39-1332 Cold Damage at gem levels 1-20 (previously 12-378 to 18-567).
Eye of Winter: When passing through an allied Flame Wall, the Eye itself and now all the shards it subsequently released will receive the Flame Wall's added Fire Damage. Shard Projectiles now travel 25% further. Eye Projectiles no longer releases a burst of shards at the end of its flight. The frequency the Eye Projectiles fires projectiles has been increased by roughly 35%. Each use of the Skill now deals 900% more Damage with its first Hit against each enemy. Now has a cast time of 1.4 seconds (previously 1.1), a Mana cost of 94-195 at Gem levels 13-20 (previously 54-128), and a 15 second Cooldown. Now Gains 100% of damage as damage of the corresponding Type when passing over an Elemental Ground Effect or Orb (previously 75%), and now deals 16-40 to 24-59 Cold Damage at Gem levels 13-20 (previously 7-17 to 10-25). Frostbolt: Now has a minimum level of 5. Base Projectile Speed has been lowered by 20%. No longer leaves Chilled Ground as it travels. Instead, it Chills as though dealing 120-195%% more Damage at Gem levels 5-20. Projectile now deals 15-23 Cold Damage at Gem level 5 (previously 24-36), scaling up to 144-216 Cold Damage at Gem level 20 (previously 201-302). This change does not affect the explosion. ---------------------------------------------------------- the staff really has big numbers,it can slow monsters to death. Eye of winter ,900%more damage on first hit,15s CD,i would say SW surely cant handle this much of cd XD.is it fluent to make a fire ground and storm orb everytime we use it?I think not HAHA. frestbolt no longer leaves chilled ground.does that mean we can only freeze somebody to have the chilled ground?Thats unstable!I hope there're other ways to make our eye of winter a ending spell ___________________________________________ after brain storm,the new eye of winter may be usable, extremly piano,we need a lightning firewall,a frost bomb,a hand-cast curse making fire ground,and storm orb(gives lightning drop)to reach the maximum damage. good news is,there're no other limits,we can use COC and sth like Lightning Conduit still.A lot of CDs and hard for SW to handle it XD.comes to mapping,I think just fireball +fireall+ triggered living bomb is enough. just dreaming.lets see after 30h =) Последняя редакция: DonbeShy#2335. " oh boy... lets see, new Eye of winter. -so the flame wall thing I think was a bug? it wasn't working? further shards, great. -no longer bursts, but instead 35% more proj. I like this personally. however, how does increased proj work now? -900% more damage on first hit. ok. now we are cooking. -1.4s cast time, 195 mana. ouch, but not gamebreaking. -15s CD. oh ffs.... (chrono cd, ingenuinity= about 9.5S cd. +forthcoming 9s) -base damage 40-59, 49average. a bit over 100% increase. ok, great. so. first off. 900% first hit, is 495 average hit. That is.. not great. a basic regular comet is 708-1062, 885 ave. snap talked about previously, etc. Remember we have a 15s cd here now, we can't keep spaming it. -100% more per elem ground effect or orb. so, its going to NEED buildup to be viable. 2 or 3 elements. flame wall seems mando. just flat added damage itself, then also ignites. 32-48 added fire, 40 av, and ignite. its basically 200% more damage by itself. flamewall doesn't HIT, so it wont be giving us freeze or shock however. flamewall can consome lightning infusions to add lightning damage to proj too. flame wall is not actually ignited ground. incinerate, burning inscription, birth of fury, oil grenade, 2 spear skills do that. burning inscription in our targeted curse, is probably the best means to get ignited ground for us. solar orb is quite good as well, as I've noted in the past. although is going to require using that dumb staff. orb of storm. its raw damage was nearly doubled. but only generates infusions at the end of its duration, which is long. so good and strong, but its infusion generation might be too slow for our purposes. frost bomb. exposure, and cold orb. Echo. well, that should work. should be 900% each. someone said unleash is now on a staff? Ive not seen any evidence of that. also, chrono unleash, and support unleash were not the same. we'll want the CD line. timesnapping to double up on bosses.we aren't CONSUMING freeze here. And remember, we can slap Ingenuity onto everything now. that is a big buff to us. https://poe2db.tw/us/Ingenuity#IngenuitySupportGemIngenuity ok, so lets try that fully setup. flamewall with lightning infusion. burning inscription, frostbomb, orb of storms. flamewall- +40 fire, +40 lightning average. 3 orb/ground. gain 100% of damage as damage of type. (I dont actually know if this is before or after flamewalls added damage.) 900% first hit, echoed. if added damage from flamewall is first. 516 average base hit for each proj, 5160 on the first hit average. if added damage is second, 276 ave base hit for each proj, 2760 on the first hit. ok.. so, thats pretty good. wall, orb ,bomb, might be viable enough for mapping alone. especially with temp chains, etc. and a 9s CD eye of winter as needed. this seems like it will be quite viable on paper. well have to look at passive tree changes, and confirm any skill changes, and support changes. that new t3 wildshards support is a huge improvement for example. this burst would also then work with the new chrono curse. apex, timesnap, agony. well want timesnap so we can eye, timesnap, eye. for 4 in a row. (now and again, possibly even giving us more.) active skill slots would be flamewall, frostbomb, orb of storms, eye of winter, curse1, convalescence. 6 of the 9 set. all those piano keys, you are def going to want/need faster cast. new flamewall can hit, and crit. eye of winter itself can crit. so, this build would use the .2 classic CRIT build I would expect. paintmasters, passive tree basically(I think it was paintmaster that pioneered the monk crit tree). we'll see with new additions, but I would expect about the same. "enemies in your presence are ignited for 100 base damage." free ignite. obviously the 100 fire damage is low. and I forget if/how it scales. Also, iirc it does NOT reapply when consumed. been awhile, would need to retest. but I don't think you can wear this and just spam Snap. passive heart of ice aurabot aoe slow is funny for sure. Basic plan for me: Go Fireball.
- Clear always has been amazing with it. - Hopefully we still got the recoup, crit, event horizon pathing - Cast speed & AOE seems nice with it. Obviously going snap for the secondary projectiles, but haven't decided on what other skills to add here. Probably living bomb & that new curse thingy if its good. " nah. ggg foreseen this,now the head doesnt directly ignite,it stacks a debuff then it ignite,it's slow.and I believe snap works like consume that once you consume you cant do the aliment again in 1s.so spamming snap is not easy to build |
