Arcane Surge will give you Mana regen rate, with constant arcane surge you have also more mana regen and with the second ascendency node you will increase this effect even more + your skilltree

If you still dont have enough mana spec out of MOM, only go for it if you have enough, how much mana do you have right now?

as expected this build starts a bit rough but evens out around 25 - i took some damage nodes early and swapped into more mana when i hit MOM - spark is great for clear and ember fusil is absolutely mandatory for bossing or bigger mobs. looking forward to seeing how this plays at endgame

at the beginning it is a bit rough, but as soon as you get raging spirit and have ember you have enough single target+ multi target to blast trough the campaign. I have replaced ember fussilade now with solar orb to trigger SRS and cast arc for single target and its still really good

edit: will also edit the leveling skilltree and despec MOM as we have enough Def, I will update the charplaner tomorrow morning without MOM, just go the right route into Lightning and spell dmg per 100 mana instead mom

At what point do you get more spirit? I'm in act 2 of the cruel campaign and I'm still at 30 base. Is it just mandatory scepter?

You will get spirit on gear. You can get it on amulet or on your chest etc. so always use your currency orbs to get something amazing or check out the gambling vendor ☺️

This build has fallen off very hard in Act 2 for me. It's becoming impossible to progress because my damage is so unbearably low. What am I missing? The mana as life node seemed to help at first, but now it's causing major mana issues. I'm not sure how to progress at this point.

Updated the leveling charplaner check it out.

Removed mom as we only need it later in the game and we want to boost our damage so we will go into the right side of the tree.

Also switched skills.

Added flame wall 1 link for spark support and got unleash + controlled destruction
Spark with arcane tempo and pierce

And orb of storms with chain link

With this gem + tree setup you should have no problems in aw2, atleast I’m stutter stepping trough a2 right now and don’t have any problems.

Feel free to further ask if you still have problems after the adjustments!

I don't think anyones having issue fighting packs of mobs with this build - the issue is doing damage in boss fights. It falls off miserably in Act 2.
