lol wtf how did he deserve to not being able to play?

He was warned by the company - it's Early Access. He was warned by the community - it will be bugged as hell. EA / Alpha SUPPOSED to be bugged by the definition. He accepted the risk and chosen to be a tester. And now he's upset. Wow! Some people just don't want to be resposible for their decisions and / or have very short memory.

Just because he finds it annoying doesn't mean he doesn't accept or understand it. Again, you're taking issue over something you have assumed rather than facts you have gained from his post. For some strange reason...

Just leave him and stop defending. He literally made his own choice to suffer. Probably he enjoys the process.

If you don't like to play buggy games, just don't play them, at least don't play unfinished semi-baked ones. That's so easy, isn't it? No annoyance, no problems, no complaints on forums, easy life.

Ive played alot of demo, early access, beta versions of different games. Not a single one of them was ready to destroy hardware by putting CPUs over factory limits by default. Stop defending poorly written code that is causing issues in big part of the playerbase just because its early access. At this point POE 2 became dangerous to run.

If you want to play polished game, wait till release. Nobody forces you to play EA. It's not job. If the game somehow managed to break your PC, blame your vendor and hardware manufacturers.

I understand what your saying, no finger pointing going on here. Just trying to be objective.. But the System Requirements say:

MINIMUM:
OS: Windows 10
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-7700 or AMD™ Ryzen 5 2500x
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960 (3GB), Intel® Arc™ A380, or ATI Radeon™ RX 470
DirectX: Version 12
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 100 GB available space
Additional Notes: A GPU with at least 3GB of VRAM is required

RECOMMENDED:
OS: Windows 10
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-10500 or AMD™ Ryzen 5 3700X
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2060, Intel® Arc™ A770, or ATI Radeon™ RX 5600XT
DirectX: Version 12
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 100 GB available space
Additional Notes: Solid State Storage is recommended

General Consensus and Common Logic should be: I have Higher Spec or I have generally close specs. My assumption should be i am able to run it, and run into minor issues like glitches/exploits

Accessibility and run time should have been factored in.
If it crashes or bricks, that's a different story:
This is why we report it that's the whole point of EA.

If you worked in software this is common sense. You can't release Software that isn't compatible with most hardware devices. In that case if you have a banking app and it constantly crashes you should be blaming your Bank not the phone manufacturer.

Disclaimers at this point should be:
A.) You should play with these same exact specs that we recommend.
B.) PC Requirements exceeding these are not recommended.
C.) Will come with Bugs in EA

Trying to shame people for their hardware-issues is not the way.

And how many PCs were "destroyed" by the PoE 2? Tell me about that in terms of software engineer, without emotions.

Exactly! I have played sooo many games in EA, but never have come across such a poor optimised game that it just keeps crashing the PC. Not to mention it can damage your hardware!. Crazy that the team is ignoring this and not putting this matter to a PRIORITY NUMBER 1. It's been 2 weeks and nothing. What kind of DEVs are they???
+1 bricked PC. Booted the game to check something for a friend after having some stability for a couple of days and now my PC won't boot back up after crashing, even after clearing CMOS.

We don't know. That's why we are trying to report and gather data. But that's besides the point?

Objectively if PC's are destroyed/bricked there's no way to provide logs since said PC's are destroyed. That's truth, you have to bring it to a service center for analysis.

The best people can do is be specific about the mutual sequence of events on what happened.

and these reports should be taken more seriously than just trying to fight the guy posting about it. There is a big differenced between doomposting and factual analysis on the events that happened and its repercussions. Good day to your Sir.

Did a fresh install on my computer. 512GB SSD, only Windows 11 and Steam/POE2 on it. It went on for 5 minutes before the first crash, now I cant even get into my hideout anymore.

GGG, how can you take a christmas vacation with this not taken care of?

based on this forum post alone I would say already few of them.
My CPU is having issues aswell since game forced all cores into 100% and turned off the cooler so now in my BSOD logs I see power shortage in CPU and high temperature errors in POE crashlogs. No emotions in it at all. When you script your shader loading to use 100% of CPU capacity and you use some of it for other background apps then it can force AMD CPUs into OC and potencionally damage it.
I assume these issues are still ongoing, as I am also experiencing it. The screen is frozen, and I can only hear the sound. I need to restart it physically
