Hard crashing PC locks up

Whats the actual BSOD error? It's not easy to pull off software bsods unintentionally

Constantly experiencing crashes while playing and streaming. Loading screens, big AoE loading, I've played on all different options in the settings trying to play on low detail etc. I'm on a 3070FE and I'm pretty sure it caused my PSU to crash and be replaced. I've never had any issues with my PC until this game, and it cost me 400$ and I am still crashing. But at least my PC turns on now.

GGG can you pay me back for my PSU and UPS lol pls? :P

u should remove the older one if you have two installed. They will cause problems all over your PC.

Are you kidding me?? I kinda like what you are getting here BECAUSE GameInput was in my DXDiag that i sent to the devs

So you're saying is you not only solved the freeze so far (fingers crossed) you'e also improved load times?
Edit: i dont have double gameinput lol so this doesnt apply to me

Anyway: poeuncrasher has saved me from all loading screen freeze so far. BUT I just had my PC freeze over opening a waypoint where you load the map... wtf this is new to me.... Poeuncrasher would not have worked in here because it's something else??

It's the same. Read what exactly "uncrasher" does. It's unreliable bandaid.

has anyone tested the nexus mod which fixes freezes and crashes?

I love the game but I had to change my review to negative. I tried numerous band aid fixes but nothing works, and the crashes have only gotten worse in the past week. It really sucks because the first week of EA I don't think I even crashed once. Then they go and push this update, or windows does, who even knows, and then go off on holidays... great job guys. You bricked the game for many people who would of liked to play over the holidays. Got my friend into the game and now he is getting past me in progress because it's got to the point I can't even play anymore.

Still completely obliterating my PC when trying to load the first town...

I initially had the game stored on my 12-year-old HDD (Toshiba DT01AC100). Long loading times and initial stuttering (especially at the beginning of each new zone) were expected, but after about 2-3 minutes, the game ran mostly smoothly. Thanks to the metric, it was clear to see that the loading of the hard drive was the bottleneck. Since I switched to a new SSD (samsung 990 EVO Plus), the game is no longer playable and crashes the entire system after a few minutes in-game. It's sad to say, after I had a hell of a time, fighting through to act 3 cruel, but the better performance killed the game.

I wrote a negative review in Steam.
This is unacceptable.
