Hard crashing PC locks up

The Problem isnt hardware its SOFTWARE as in it might be something with how they work with Nvidia, but even vulcan isnt better, stuttering, crashes, cant play with any witch or summoner on team...

this sounds like some kind of fucked up conspiracy theory. have trouble optimizing resources on the most efficient processors on the market. Should we buy even more efficient ones? I've never experienced anything like this. I remember the premiere of Crysis 2007, new technology, hardly anyone met the hardware requirements and yet there was never a chance of something like that happening here. Even if you had weak hardware, you played at 15-20 fps, but the system didn't crash, and there was definitely no way it could be at such extreme temperatures. you still have access to better tools for resource optimization than in those days, so do something about it because this is Pathology.Please tell me what you fucked up. I'm begging you.

Well, it's official document from manufacturer. Sure, you can not to follow it, but in this case you're in trouble. As for high CPU usage, I think it is acceptable at this stage of the game, knowing they have a lot of debug / placeholder code in their binaries. But sure, as you I hope they will reduce the load eventually to free some resources for other tasks. I recommend you to duplicate your post in corresponding topic, just in case.

PS The justification that the kernel mode (or even ring -2?) contains vulnerabilities that allow the system to be compromised by the low privilege limited application sounds totally absurd in terms of software engineer and the severity of the problem. I guess you have to write to NVIDIA driver writers so they remove the fix from the upcomming January release. And make sure your letter will be recieved by the hackers / kiddos over the world, so the won't abuse the vulnerable systems.

i.e.
Exclude the path below in Windows defender and then reboot your PC
(Obviously replace "<username>" with your username)

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile 2

Sadly this does not work, I have it added for days now.

Mike Ybarra former president of Blizzard has tweeted about PoE2 crashing on windows. May help get some more eyes on this.

PoEUncrasher is aleast allowing me to play. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Can see in its log the game is trying to crash on load screens at least once an hour...

I'm not out here defending Blizzard using half-truths and misinformation, am I? I obviously gave examples from the two most prominent games in online gaming sector: WoW and FFXIV. They are rivals by the way. And unlike you I was knowledgeable enough to know how their launches went and their problems with spaghetti code how despite their problems neither had left their paying customers on the lurch like this.

NVIDIA's fix is not related to this crash(hard crash), theirs is the other crash (crash to desktop and BSOD). The difference between the two is that one shows up on event viewer and logs, the other most often does not because system cannot even log it due to being unresponsive.

And here you are with your lack of understanding or purposeful misleading:

In the context, the key is that a program that one installs in their PC from a trusted installer and run by choice will have access to a lot of system functions due to good-faith. From your logic, we shouldn't be putting volume controls in PCs, because the users can damage their ears by pumping up the volume. PoE2 is like your media player suddenly decides to randomly blast the volume up. Will a Realtek patch that addresses a crash due to a clash with keyboard drivers fix it? No. Same way Nvidia's patch won't be fixing this issue, which by the way also affects AMD.

Funny how you claim to be so knowledgeable about software yet do not know that a Nvidia driver cannot fix or cause a problem with AMD GPU. (I can already sense you typing: "Uh oh! What if it was installed with AMD drivers!" in hopes to derail the thread.)

Furthermore, I ask anyone who sees this message to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam.
