I dont care for the money i invested.
Just hope they find a fix soon without all the workarounds.

I just wanne play again without the pc locks, like the 100 hours i played already without issues before upgrading to a new processor and win 11.

I dont wanne get pulled in D4 again next week just because my ARPG addiction need to be fed. :)

Had a windows update today and now have an entirely new issue. Hardlocking is no longer happening, however trying to enter the game on any character leads to an unending loading screen as the CPU floats around the 20% mark.

It's as if it's completely reversed itself from hardlocking to just doing nothing.

The windows update was just a security update. The notes go into detail about it.

I've sent GGG my memory dump with info..

There is clearly an issue with a graphics driver or SSD driver and Windows kernel. Windows recently introduced new functionality for drivers on how to handle tasks related to Windows DPC.

A game cannot hard lock your computer without failure in kernel space which the game has absolutely no control of.

Anyone yelling at GGG understands nothing of how an operating system works.
