Hard crashing PC locks up

Data loss/corruption. You are shutting down your OS in the middle of working.

So more of a software issue? It's not going to like permanently fry my CPU forcing me to buy a new one? I'm still going to avoid playing for now to avoid the issue. System seems fine right now.

No, with a modern computer that should not damage the hardware. You risk corrupting your data though, so it's best to avoid it. GGG is working on a fix already, so here's hoping that it'll be out relatively soon.

Got the same issues as everybody, and i'm still trying to figure out a way to solve the issue (even if I'm pretty sure I can't really do much except give feedback).

Where is any information that they are working on this problem, because I unfortunately did not find this information. I got the same problem like others

PC Crashing FIX:
To whom this may concern, I have been having this issue as well and I haven't had any issue since I started turning off Engine MultiThreading when I teleport. Yes this is tedious however it works. This is probably has to do with a race condition happening in the level building process or the video pipeline deadlocking.

Computer specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 8700k
GPU:NVIDIA GForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB
RAM: 16Gb 3200MHz

TLDR: Turn multithreading off when teleporting, turn multithreading on when playing for more frames.

I have the same problem. The game just crashes on me every few minutes.

Set -2 cores in Processor affinity looks like fix it for me

Some people reported the issue persisting on 23H2. I don't suggest downgrading.

Yeah I have 23h2 and I still have the freezes (though it just freezes my screen and I can hear audio from game, and still play but whats the point when I cant see what I do like im blind in game xD)
