" Yep. And 100% why people shouldn't be continuing to try to run the game in any capacity until we hear from GGG about this. It's actually dangerous for your hardware. The chance of damage is small, but it's non-zero. If you have a part that's already questionable you could end up creating a much more annoying problem. |

" Quoting myself as an update: I had BES capping PoE2 at 95% CPU all day yesterday and only had a single hard lockup during all that time, whereas on launch day it had locked up several times. Did capping the CPU help or was it coincidence? Not sure yet, will continue testing. |

" When i started the game i too crashed 100% of the time that i tried to enter the first town. After changing the resolution from 1440p to 1080p and capping fps to 120 (in the options) i have had 0 crashes. If i try to play poe 1 without fps cap it crashes too all the time because of too high framerate(between 350-600). But capped, never. This is with 4080 and 13600k. 240hz 1440p monitor. I had the same hard crash and lock roughly 6 times since launch, and today my system bricked entirely. Will not even power on.
I7 3080 Windows 11 Any other full bricks out there? |

I'm still hard crashing/freezing in loading screens from time to time
Even after hot patch 9 Specs: Windows 11 24H2 Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4070 Ti 32 GB RAM 6000Mhz Settings: Renderer DX12 DLSS Mode DLAA Other Settings MAXED FPS: Stabil 138 FPS with some dips in combat, looks fine with VRR/Gsync Enabeld. |

" I was crashing a ton on day 1, and had this happening in PoE1 before PoE2 came out as well. I saw someone who got results in PoE1 by changing CPU power settings to min 98% max 99% which had noticeable improvements.
