Hard crashing PC locks up

Same issues here

CPU: i5 12400F
GPU: RTX 4070

Happened once now. On reboot the PC displayed a prominent message "CPU IS OVERHEATING". Optimized too well?

Specs:
Ryzen 5 5600X / 16GB Ram / 2TB M.2 SSD (7Gb/s) / AMD Radeon RX 580

Now with an open side panel

This is the worst bug.

This game obliterates my R7 9800X3D to 100% under AIO colling like it's nothing.
You can keep side panel for sure.

I hope they use all of their resources towards fixing this, because this is the 3rd hard lock I get today.

I swear, this is criminal. I don't know how this wasn't caught in beta testing.

In a seriousness, it's messed up that such a bug that can literally damage people's PCs isn't top priority #1

I am in act 3, and it has crashed my pc 5+ times now, so I am gonna quit until they confirm it does not happen anymore.

I just hope we get an update from GGG soon. If it takes longer to fix then so be it, but at least let us know if there's any progress and maybe give us a rough estimate on how long it might take to handle this issue.

Nvidia drivers: 566.36
BIOS updated to latest stable release

Cant fight balbala it turns off my pc. im also getting very high power usage and it also melted my friends PSU.

The freeze still happening btw
