Merc wont fire

I assume you're trying to shoot using the "crossbow shot" skill rather than one of the load ammunition skills

Aye mate , i have no icon in the left mouse button , the icons also change in the task bar , can all change to the one type of shot , i have rolled another merc just lvl two , all is fine on the test toon.

Another silly question, have you assigned the reload to a weapon swap and you don't have a weapon in that slot?

Like, maybe you took your xbow out of weapon slot 1 and put it in 2 at some point

My merc still cant fire shots, only reloading sound appears. But grenades can be launched. Very strange and frustrating.

Stupid question. Have you changed your equipment removing Strength or dexterity from you character making her unable to use the equipped gems or supports?
I've had this issue before.

mine has bugged twice , exactly the same as you mate , second time managed to eventually get it working by trying one skill at a time , took ages.

I figured it out. You need to put left click as `crossbolt shot` first, then set another bind as the ammo you want, then it'll work on left click.
