Poe 2 Legacy of The Vaal quest small soul core sometimes doesnt spawn

After entering Jiquani's Machinarium for the first time I went and summoned Alva and went to look for the soul core, i killed every monster and explored everywhere and there was no soul core, it wasn't in my inventory or on the ground. I created a new instance and went searching which I then found it.

Happened to me and party also, made new instance and found it

For anyone wondering, the entrance is where u kill the Chimera. Up the stairs

I found the Small Soul Core, but when I click the Stone Altar, nothing happens.

Exact same thing is happening to me. I click on the alter with the core and nothing happens.

" " Same here. I cleared the Machinarium, picked up the soul stone but then I can't interact with the altar. It has the 'interaction outline' when I point at it but clicking doesn't do anything. Did you guys find out what to do? |
