25+% on Gaze is preferable because the difference can be huge but it is very expensive. I still think 20% is better than not using it. You should try to get 2x Breach ring with huge mana roll and use +50% mana quality to increase it to 200+ mana on each ring at least (240+ preferable) and get mana regen there too. You can see on my rings how much mana they give and it will boost your ES and dmg a LOT.

I switched to Kitoko and Gaze + CI + EB + MoM around lvl 85 I think. I was using The Three Dragons till then and was slowly preparing the gear to make the switch.

Here is my gear and stats + skills. It might help you with gearing (what stats on which items to look for). My Skill tree is basically the same as DeerFart posted here earlier.

Also one tip that made my life so much easier: If you are close to dying or you know you are gonna die (ES gone, you are CCed/stun locked and mana is going down fast) just press ESC and Exit game. ESC will pause your game and if you quit the game from there, you will not die, you won't lose map and you can just return to map if you have any remaining portals and not lose anything. I was close to dying twice in past 3 days (both times in breach) and this saved me both times.

I'm using 15% spell dmg + 20% ES on my jewels and some crit for spells if possible. I got 5 of those. Also any Int is good since we have node that increases our dmg based on the amount of int.
