Respec Cost

Hi,

the respec cost is way to high.

1.1k for a normal skill point and 20k for changing a int node to dex?

mobs drop 1-6 gold and rares sometimes 100 is way to low.

the statement that you want ppl to experiment is simply false.

Ya, way too high in the beginning.
Almost unable to respec, when you can respec 3 points after clearing a complete zone.

Later on the price may be fine but at start there is no way you can respec without investing so much time that its almost better to start over again.

I'm sorry, what? Are you deep into the Atlas or some shit? Cause I'm 35 atm and my skill point resets only cost about 700 per, and aren't any higher for changing attribute points nodes.

i guess the respec of the dex/int node takes the skillpoint down the line in to account but this is stupid

I have to pay 7.5k per ascendancy point and by the time I get the gold again I'll pay even more LMFAO

Respec cost scaling is absolutely deranged, I never had to scrape so much together to respec in PoE1 like this

I agree, respect cost is punishing and preventing experimentation which reduces feedback on different builds people would be experimenting on.

It also penalised players for going in blind and just trying some stuff out, if they get it wrong the cost to fix it is way to much time invested to farm the gold. I've got a full time job already. Overall the game has been fantastic but the prohibitive respect costs remove the options to be curious and experiment.

Yup. I want to respec and it's 9K for ascendancy point. So I need 38K for respec now. And I even don't know if it would be better because there is no PoB.

Im new to poe2 and I was changing my skills and ran out of gold. Now Im stuck in a unplayable build. What am i suppose to do now? Start over? Grind the gold, which would take days with this unplayable build? With early access and you changing the skills can I get a free respec?

I feel that the respec costs should scale with the number of passive points allocated on the tree currently, and NOT based on character level. (Ascendancy shuod be fixed based on itself, not your overall tree. I think Ascendancy prices should be a lot higher, but shouldn't be impacted from the rest of your tree.

I have tested a build and ended up with a horrible build and had no money after all.
I have farmed about 1h about 200k by collecting all magic/rare drops in Lost City killing the bug over and over and selling the stuff. This is a good spot for getting fast some gold for respec. I need atm 5k for 1 point to respec
