Respec Cost

Respec cost should not be existing at all. Any respec cost just cripple the game, putting chains on your imagination and thus making your entire gaming experience much much worst. Just put big cost for ascendancy respec, that's all. Everything else should free, like in GW2. There is no second opinion about that. The game is difficult by its own.

The whole repec system in this is utter trash. You have to go through each point one by one, if you have the money. And repeccing ascendancy is even more trashy seeing as you have to try and get a token for the level you are already specced at. Its my opinion that GGG does not like their players and just finds more and interesting ways to drive us anyway.

I think the main problem with 'you' people is that you do not vendor everything.
You see whites, blues, you do not pick it up -> identify -> sell. I do that for all my characters. Tedious, yes, but that's the way the game is gated. You want to experiment, you need to vendor everything like the player said earlier. Usually by the time I reach Act 3 in normal, I would have 200k to 500k gold depending on the amount of yellows dropped. That is about level 33 to 40 (45 to 52 skill points to respec if needed). |

" Bull. I would vendor everything and waste a ton of time to portal back just to do it. Even with all that, respec cost is outrageous especially considering the amount of tweaking required as new skills become available. |

IMO respec should be free until everything has been tested, and the game leaves EA. Best way to get people to experiment and use everything to provide feedback is make it easily accessible. After that bring it back at a reasonable cost.

There is a unique map called Castaway or something like that that is all gold drops.
If you put a waystone in with increase % of gold you can make 2-5million gold from that map alone. Highly worthwhile if you are struggling with respect costs in the endgame. |
