accidently sold quest item in poe 2

So i beat the hell out of that giant boss in act 2 for the quest item and sold some stuff afterwards. I then got to the spot where i need the quest item and didnt have it anymore. Well because i accidently sold it. I could not buy it back after that because i changes the area and the buy back tab disappeared because of that. I then beat the boss again but i dont get the quest item anymore.

Would be nice if you make the quest items not tradeable or at least re-droppable as long as the quest is still active.

I need to make a new charavter now.

I mean it would be cool if a support staff member could drop it in my inventory again :)

Its the quest item from the quest ancient vows.

i have to report that i found out i didnt sell it. you give it the npc in the camp and get something for that. it seems like i completely wiped that off my memory. the item i thought i sold comes from 2 other areas where i havent been before.

This is a problem tho, I dropped one of those quest items to make room, thinking I didn't need it because it was a duplicate/extra. I later realized I hadn't completed that quest, now I can't get back the second piece for the Ancient Vows quest. Can't complete it.

The item dropped, and my game crashed :(
I’ve defeated the boss multiple times since, but the item isn’t dropping anymore...

I’ve even created a new character now :(
