Birth of Fury/Ignite Clarification
The unique boots "Birth of Fury" have a mechanic where they drop ignited ground which "Ignites as though dealing fire damage equal to 10% of your maximum life"
I have a few questions about the mechanics of these boots: 1) Do you, the player, still count as igniting the enemy when they are ignited by the ground effect? 2) Do any Ignite Magnitude modifiers you have via equipment or the passive tree apply to the ignite from the ground effect? 3) I'm aware that % damage mods do not apply directly to the Ignite, but do they still count towards the damage calculation that creates the ignite? Because of the wording of the ability - "as though dealing fire damage..." - it's unclear to me whether your % damage mods would apply when figuring out how much damage the game considers you to be dealing for the "hit" that causes the ignite. I am unsure, but I ALSO would like to know the answers to these questions. I'm trying to figure out if there's any possibility for this unique to make a life-scaling build possible and that kinda hinges on whether or not the ignite counts as being "from you" or not.
[Edit] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvLto-icIMw 1. unsure, but probably, so that ring which changes ignites to do chaos damage would probably work here. It does NOT contribute to "cast on ignite", however. 2. Yes, magnitude applies 3. unsure, but it probably applies with life serving as the source of the initial damage then modified by % increases which apply to ignite specifically or any DoT modifiers Последняя редакция: ApolloGist#5810.
