Dark effigy cant damage zalmarath the colossus

when Dark effigy tries to darget zalmarath it picks the bottom of his hitbox which is obviously his feet so the effigy just shoots the floor constantly and it cant actually damage the boss. Sometimes when the effigy was up close and his hand was on the stage it was able to shoot his hand but even when placing as close as the hitbox of the boss would allow me too it would just shoot the floor of the arena.

I can confirm this bug.

Having the same issue now fighting this boss in cruel. A ton of my damage is from this skill so it is making the fight very difficult.
