[Feedback] Viper Napuatzi kinda overtuned?! (Sorc. Chrono.)
If I wanted to play Dark souls I would be playing Dark souls.

The hardest boss in the entire campaign, because of how difficult it is to get chaos res early on, and we are forced to fight in order to progress. King of the Mists and Mekthul are optional so we can come back to kill them once we are 10 levels over.
As a low level caster without access to Archmage or Lightning Conduit, even having +6 to projectile skills failed the DPS check. Eventually I equipped a quarterstaff on swap and got it done on the second try. It's not easy to drop the bell because she is moving and knocking me back all over the place, but as soon as I got that small DPS window, I made the most of it. Quarterstaves are such good bossers when you can get a good one from trade. My build isn't even optimized for it save for a few generic elemental and crit passives. |

Probably overtuned because it only has one really dangerous attack, and harder than the act boss mainly due to that alone

It's a bad fight.
She get to do the new PoE2 thing and monologue in immunity. She a big FU to melee. She starts with an attack that pushes your character back. So if you are not in the poison you are now. She repositions by force walking through you. Then stands in a poison puddle... melee is again ... screwed. Then she decides to take a nice fly around the arena .. in immunity .. while the floor gets covered in damage... again melee screwed. Then after 45 seconds .. you get to fight her .. as she stands in poison and says fu melee ... She is a terrible fight... honestly i find it just a jank BS task to persist through and move on... all the campaign bosses are too easy, I hope GGG will buff them at least 3x times.
PoE nowadays looks more and more like a fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players.

The most irritating thing about that fight is her tendency to jump out of the arena behind the guards , happened twice already ; so you are forced to restart the fight .
Other than that if you roll sideway when she charges you , and keep rolling out of the way of DoT on the ground and spears attacks from the guards it's a chill boss but ... if you got no elemental / chaos Resistances it's a challenging fight , though it's late Act 3 we're talking about so no more excuses here for not stacking Res . My case.
Lv.66 Infernalist in cruel (basically SSF'ish play in normal league but it's not the 1st character) 1310HP, 1370MP with 30% of damage taken from mana before life, and 20% of damage from hits taken from Hellbound's life. 2600ES (which most likely be gone long before the final spear wave.) 75 all elemental resists and 53 chaos res "0 armour" "0 evasion" I died for the last spear wave. (managed to dodge "2 consecutive waves" at 3rd try) Everything I do should be wrong so please correct me if I do it right <3

Viper Napuatzi is overtuned, but would be easy to fix.
The problem, in my experience, is with the poison-projectile wave attack performed by her soldier contingent. That poison-projectile wave chains too fast from one soldier to the next, so it moves through the battle area too quickly. In that way, it doesn't provide reasonable reaction time for being able to dodge-roll under it. All of the other support mechanics seem to be well-designed in that they provide reasonable indicators of their areas of effect long enough in advance to move away from them. since i havent seen anyone else mention it frost walls you can ignore everything but her immune phases with it bonus is you can rev people in a party by blocking her off so have at it
