Poe 2, no Spirit for killing King of the Mist

On controller, if you have an item with multiple gem slots you can’t select the second one so on to insert runes. So you have to switch to k+m to do that. Please fix.

The Bog Witch drops the remaining Spirit. Not King in Cruel. It's A3 map boss, and again the same boss in Cruel.

I had same problem, killed the boss a bunch of times and couldnt see the green thing he supposedly drops to get the spirit gem.

I realise i can buy one from trade, I guess this was a workaround if I can get a low enough version

ok i think i figured out how to get the reset. i felt like this was bugged but the following process let me get the spirit gem thing

1) go to hunting grounds and find/complete altar
2) talk to Finn and have him tell you to go to Freythorn
3) go to Freythorn (i cleared all map and altars before doing the final altar and King in the Mist
4) kill King
5) behind final altar there is a green item "Gembloom Skull" which is hard to select if on console. stand near it and use right thumbstick to select it and deposit in inventory
6) go to inventory and use "Gembloom Skull"
7) PROFIT !! (ie the spirit gem should now be in your inventory)

How much spirit SHOULD I have as a warrior by end of act 3? I am doing T15 maps but only have 70 spirit.

You should have 100. You get 30 from king of the mist in normal mode only, you get another 30 in act 3 killing the witch in The Azak Bog, then you get the last 40 in the second play though in act 3 killing the witch again.

The game is not unplayable, you are trying to earn something that does not drop where you are looking, and just calling something unplayable. There is an entire Legend on the Act Map as well as the Atlas screen that tells you what each icon on the screen is, if you would look at that and then the FreyThorn in the second playthrough, you would notice that the skull there does not have a + on it.
