PoE 2 Latency Spikes?

Im on EU (london server) and regularly spiking to ~400 every 10 seconds or so with spikes to ~1000 once a minute

Are you reading this section of the forum? The game is unplayable now and we are waiting for an official response.

still awful lag, all started when the new PoE1 league kicked off, prior to that previous 2 months was lag free

Since the last patch I have latency spikes more frequently. It spikes from 30-60ms up to 100MS - videos on youtube running at the same time without any issues. Using cable. Tried different graphic settings as some are writing it helps but for me no changes.

its been a lot better today than previous 2-3 days not sure if they've tweaked something

That is still an issue (at least on EU GWs), please fix it ASAP. I know it's not my PC since I have no such lags in PoE 1 and I use a cable connection.

I have the same problem. My ping is good in other online games, but here i got massive spikes from 40ms to 400ms every 2 seconds or so that does not stop. It's being going for maybe a week. Tried changing gateways, change DNS, checked windows defender, try different character, but nothing helps. I'm using cable not wifi so problem is not there either. Have been playing since the beginning of early access and had zero issues with latency, but now it's unplayable for me.
P.S. I tried POE 1 today, same problem for me there...

I was on London EU with 30ms spiking to 400 or even 1000. I switched to Amsterdam which said 38 ping and MS was a straight line.

Then swapped back to london and MS tracker looked like a heart monitor spking all over.

Not sure why but London gateway seem to have issues

I'm usually on the Singapore server but I've been having horrendous lag spikes all week long and legit unplayable today. Switched to HK with a few minutes of stable gameplay and back to the stuttery mess. Every other game works fine, and to be fair, PoE2 did too until today (with a couple lag spikes per day).

Is GGG even trying to fix this? It seems like a lot of people are having this problem, so it should be a priority issue. But I guess they don't prioritize it at all.

I will wait a little longer, then I’ll give up on Poe2. I can't play at all. I hope they are ready to refund people for this.
