ONE SHOT MECHANICS SHOULD BE GONE!!!

This situation is disgusting!!!

Got 1 shot from corrupted monster when:

I was lvl 76, mobs 72
All elemental resistances were 75%
Chaos resistance was 75%
Armor 63%
Evasion 73%

1200+ life
1000+ energy shield


WTF GGG???????????????? YOU WILL LOSE 85% of your player (potential money) if this is a thing in your game.............


EDIT: before this one shot I spent 120+ exalts and 3+ hours to craft/buy all necessary equipment to make my defense maximum.... disgusting

what was the area mods though?

like ele pen makes you take almost double damage

only 1 mod, shocked ground becasue I got 4 map modifiers on that area, delirium, corruption, expedition +1 mob level

waystone was lvl 8

with how armour works, 63% isn't enough to stop being 1 shot by all physical attacks with 2200 hit pool. I've got 61% physical damage reduction, plus 20% absorbed by hellhound and 20% converted to chaos and physical dmg is still my biggest threat.

Was it the beyond/corruption demon that puts out the narrow cone that charges up? cause that thing is deadly- and dont even think its physical dmg >.>

mate, I understand what you say, but this should not be a thing in the game AT ALL, if player has maxed out resistances on low level map and low level mobs and stil getting 1 shot, that player ... will just leave...

maxing out defenses doesnt help much when your hit pool is 2200

You forgot your most important defensive layer: Dodgeroll.

i agree.. 1 shot in a normal T8 waystone when i have 75 all ele res, 75 chaos res, 11k armor made me alt f4 3 days in a row now..i'm waiting for the next patch and if this bs don't change i'll quit as well..game supposed to be fun not to make you sad.

Life pool 1.8k but so what? i'm supposed to spend 5 divs on each piece of gear while i make 1-2 ex every 3 T7 waystones?just lol..not fun nor rewarding.

That doesn’t feel like a big enough hit pool. I have a 52 monk in HC with 2,200 hp (1.3k life + 900 es).
