Find Out about Patch 0.1.1 on January 12th PST

Speculation time!

In my opinion, since it's a "patch" version update (major.minor.patch), i wold NOT expect:
- New Class(es)
- New "league" (economy reset)
- (much of) New content

What is possible?
- Loot rebalance
- IIR rebalance
- Difficulty tuning, some on-death effects are still overly punishing in my opinion
- Pinnacle boss rebalance (arbiter doing multiple abilities at once etc)
- Endgame tuning (1 portal?, Finding citadels, fixes/tuning for RNG stuff)
- New support gems
- Bind Spectre? 🙏
- Class / Ascendancy rebalance
- Full free Passive Tree Reset because of changes
- More legacy MTX / cosmetics working

This is in my view and from what I gathered from EA feedback the issues and things they should and hopefully would focus on.

It's the least significant version number increase, so I don't expect something massive like new classes or many new gems or new content, but I'd be blissfully surprised if that was the case!

Outside of the scope of PoE2 but - with massive appeal, the games (both of them) finally need a 2FA auth or an auth app to protect accounts from hacking. Scams, phishing and just malicious things over the Christmas/New Years period were pretty rampant. Maybe also a way to completely disable Standalone logins when using Steam/Epic/PSN/XBL to authenticate as they all have solid 2FA available!

Lets hope they also do something about the performance issues ingame very very soon... like the extremely FPS drop, lag and the problems with the game freezing and a hard reset of the pc is needed. Makes the game unplayable tbh.
