Be aware that there will be lots of complaining afterwards either way. There are currently too many unrealistic expectations in wildly different directions.

I myself am not sure I'll be happy with what you prioritize and what not. But you gotta do your thing.
I also still owe you a lengthy feedback post, but this is not that.

Take some constructive feedback but ignore the haters. And try to filter out which complaints are just loud and numerous and which actually get to the core of the existing issues.

With all the complaints/demands/... don't forget that everyone basically agrees that you have a very strong base game.

they'll nerf the builds and interactions that are blatantly unintended/overpowered, but none of that matters since ggg doesn't have the tools or the vision to achieve a healthy state of balance

more than 10 years of experience in arpg design and this is the result. it's not like they're suddenly going to become god tier game designers

when I listen to jonathan, mark and chris, it all makes sense and I agree with almost everything they said during the interviews. it sounded like they're going to create the best action rpg of all times. but when I look at the game and its state, it's like a completely different game and looks like someone took over the entire design process and destroyed everything they wanted to achieve

once again the community is doing the balancing and trying to compensate for their lack of common sense. even an inexperienced arpg player would immediately see most of the issues of the game, yet ggg is unable to see them until the community shouts them into their face. they're either extremely incompetent at game design, or blinded by their vision, which is not in line with the industry standards at all

why should anyone trust them at this point?

you are right. its been like that forever. they can't balance sh*t.
its overkill a lot of the time. or they overlook the most obvious interactions of mechanics...
Poe 2 endgame is a big disaster. Unplayable, bad and extremely boring

I really hope we can get some information about performance improvements. I think that the game desperately needs a option to disable skill effects (or reduce them).
My pc (RX 7900XT, Ryzen 7 7700, 32Gb RAM 5200Hmz - 3440x1440) is not top of the line but the GPU usage spikes from 60-99% in a blink of an eye are really weird and annoying (and that is with FSR because the Shockwave totem effects are blasting FPS under 60).
CPU spikes during loading are standard but in some zones there is something going on that uses one or two cores of the CPU a lot leading to some higher than usual temperatures.
So far the game is fairly solid and i want to play it more but right now i'm going to take a break until this stuff gets figured out and we get more general improvements to the ascendancy trials, end game, classes, crafting etc.
Looking forward to all the tears from reddit and other "content creators". GGG you will never make everyone happy, just make the game you want and keep the players who like your game. Try and cater to everyone and you will piss off everyone. Best to stay true to what you consider a good game. Loving POE2 so far. I still think naming POE2 as "early access" was a HUGE mistake because single brain cell players dont understand what that means. Should have just called it open beta or something like that.

Please make your game so everyone can do all the content. It feels bad not to be able to do content in a game, like this, were party composition isn’t a thing. This is a dungeon crawler game to my understanding .It would be nice if all play style were viable in your game. So many skills and so many passive on the tree but not all combinations can be viable. That’s not fun. Waystone drop rates are not fun, it would be better if you had too many way stone than not enough. It would be more fun to not get one shot, having a one shot protection mechanic in your game would be fun. Also getting a notification as to what killed you on your kill screen would be nice, so you’re not wondering at 3am what the heck killed you. Having a certain amount of one attribute should give a bonus to survivability, for example having 150 to int acquired from the passive tree, would give a significant bonus to survival. Dual wielding staves, being able to use one staff in each hand. When it comes to chaos damage it maybe a good choice to greatly reduce the initial hit but increase the dot duration or damage this would give the player more time to react to chaos damage and not uninstall your game cause of chaos. The trails in your game for ascending are not fun, ascending is underwhelming. It would be nice if the player felt much stronger after ascension. Was the thought behind making your game, “ we want the player base to have a fun challenging experience” or was it “ we want our players to hate their lives and love of video games”. The idea of your game is really fun but the execution... I hope poe1 have given something to learn from, in the area of how to make this game fun. Just keep in mind why people play games, it’s fun, challenging and exciting, I can play.
