The Truth About PoE 1 Versus PoE 2

I think another issue players are believing it's that tencent = money and theyr'e after hundreds of millions of investment that they need immediate returns on.

I really don't think this is the case, I think there was a relatively small team working on poe2, until the last year, this feels very much like a company that cares about their employees and doesn't want to crunch an AAA title out the door to maximise profit in as quick a way as possible

I’ve enjoyed PoE2 and can see myself playing it for the long term but in the little experience I had with PoE1 (maybe a couple hundred hours) it feels like they’ve sacrificed player autonomy for accessibility. Not to say this is a deal breaker, but with the amount of rng in PoE2 it plays a lot closer to D4 than I would have liked. That being said I understand it’s EA and the game will continue to evolve so I’ll be going along for the ride until Elon calls me back to farm his S7 char (only kidding).
