🏚️ 💰 WE NEED AUCTION HOUSE NOT TRADES!!!
Dont know how much good it will do with Jonathan trying to take as much fun out of the game as possible, but i agree we need an auctionhouse. People keep applying this double standard to PoE2 saying we shouldnt have one because we never had one with PoE etc then in the same sentence say PoE 2 isnt supposed to be the same game as PoE 1 and things are going to be different. The current trade system is terrible and the devs would know that if they werent so disconnected and focused on pushing their own agenda. I can bet not a single one has made a character and played through it on their own without spawning in build enabling uniques or gear that they would have otherwise had to spend hours spam whispering people and hope that one of them will reply and not try to scam you.

" That's because loot/currency drops + crafting are abysmal. Instead of actually fixing the problem they think the solution is to make trading as difficult and annoying as possible |

" Only botters and RMTers like current system because its exploitable. personally im for complete removal of trade of any kind, SSF for all, but with fixed ingame loot drops. would be fun to see all those botter/RMTer faces if poe1 and poe2 would simply cut out any ability to trade. ___ Hoo there wanderer... give us an fing auction house. this idea of take 5 steps for something this easy is backward thinking. the people trying to price fix and bot and scam players would be cleared up quick and you don't have to try to go to the china servers and lag for 5 mins to try to trade with someone.

It is gggs responsibility to build as many systems into the game as possible. Current trade is a MASSIVE security concern as it requires the user to enter their personal data into a third party website to use.
This system was NEVER secure and is simply an amateur move based off laziness than for any real purpose. This is no longer a case of we want the players to have tension but a case of it needs to be fixed before you get sued. |

POE 2 is an embarrassment to the ARPG genre, the fact that they refuse to implement an AH because they want to sell hide outs in a PAID game is downright scummy.
GGG used to be a company that did the right thing now they are more evil than Blizzard. Последняя редакция: KingHadu#1599. Время: 21 апр. 2025 г., 02:16:32

This.
The problem now is price fixing by those farmers, I don’t want to spend more time camping and dm whole night. The time should be spent on “GAMING” The AH should also allow buyer to uniques since those affixes are fixed. |

So sick and tired of these price fixing pests.
Can't buy anything cause of these people. Imagine if we had an AH all of these issues would be solved if only Alva could trade armor and weapons if only I spent the entire day yesterday just messaging bots and scammers to get something GGG is a joke I hope this game fails because of their stupidity and laziness Последняя редакция: KingHadu#1599. Amidst the no-replies I've had to tolerate and the bait-and-switches attempts I've had to guard against, I did have one particularly tiresome trade venture that went like this, the initial "conversation" stretching across an hour:
Seller: lists item x for n Me: @Seller Hi, I would like to buy your x listed for n, etc etc Seller: *no reply* Me: *refreshes trade page, sees Seller has re-listed x for n+1* Me: @Seller Hi, I would like to buy your x listed for n+1, etc etc Seller: *no reply* Me: *refreshes trade page, sees Seller has re-listed x for n+2* Me: @Seller Hi, I would like to buy your x listed for n+2, etc etc Seller: *no reply* Me: *refreshes trade page, sees Seller has re-listed x for n+3* Me: @Seller Hi, I would like to buy your x listed for n+3, etc etc Seller: *no reply* Me: hey, I'm willing to buy x for n+6 Seller: *no reply* Me: *refreshes trade page, sees Seller has re-listed x for n+7* Me: *nope, done, time to look for alternatives* Seller, next day: hey, are you still interested in x? I was annoyed with Seller's games, but I'm more bothered by this draconian trade system. I've read that this system aligns with some sort of developer "vision" — as do some other seemingly player-unfriendly decisions — but as a player, I don't find any of it fun. And I'm happy to see I'm far from the only one. I uninstalled when I read the 0.2 patch notes and saw the feedback; as it stands, I'm happy to be no longer playing and I'm bitter-sweetly mourning the ~500 hours I put into 0.1. If I cared a little bit more, I'd go ahead and make a meme, but I can't be bothered. I reckon everyone knows the format (or, indeed, the source material), anyway, so a reference is all I need to convey the sentiment: "No, it's the players who are wrong." |
