only cause the elitists whine when any small change that effects them 0% is suggested. im going to keep leaving feedback in hopes the game gets better and better. if you truly think its become a circus then maybe step away for awhile.
....Why does XP loss have to go? The point of the game isn't "Hit level 100". Very few people are level 100. Why are you demanding you be able to get there without hard work? Some people can, some people can't. Myself, I'm creeping up on level 95. If you want more XP, do harder content. In all reality you should be thinking of level 90 as the last real level and anything you get after that is because you've built your character correctly. If you can't dodge something, survive it. If you can't survive it, kill whatever is trying to kill you before it manages it.

Those are your 3 defensive options, make everything dead, make sure you can't die, or play better. I'm in realm 1/2, because I'm sure as fuck not good enough for realm 3. That being said, if you're playing an armor-dependent class, GGG have still fucked up and not fixed armor correctly, so in that regard you are correct....but that is not a "We need to change xp values across the game" issue, that is "armor is still fucked, please fix". Because their last fix made mobs with armor harder to kill by 15% as well....and traditionally the "armor-using" classes aren't the "everything on my screen is dead" classes, meaning all they've done is make the fights take 15% long while the wet noodle mobs fight the wet noodle armor classes.

So basically, for now, don't play armor and wait for GGG to fix their broken fucking game sometime after they fix the hundreds of people locked out of their accounts do to their broken fuckin security =)

Aka: XP is fine, but the game isn't.

nah its a trash mechanic, and almost every death has been an off screen or bug, literally nothing to do with skill.

Sometimes, skill isn't knowing how/when to dodge, but knowing how/what to build on your character in order to take the hit you can't dodge.

That being said, if you're running an armor character, that sucks and I'm sad for you.
The solution is to not die.
If you're dying you need to git gud.

a newly recolored helltide AKA Diablo 4 season will start soon. The implication is that all the shittiers who complain about XP loss will be playing D4 at least temporarily.

In all seriousness if I was GGG I would totally track the incidences of these kinds of "make the game more trivial" threads during the D4 season start and see how it tracks when they trickle back into POE2 when D4's 1-4 days of new season smell wears thin and all the streamers come back to POE2.

There's scientific potential to objectively prove how shallow simple games that coddle bad play, relate to player retention (replayability) and conversely game designs "depth" such as POE2.

If GGG was REALLY smart they would then set up a new POE1 season and track the same metrics for other popular topics like "make the game faster/slower paced"

GGG has an opportunity to own the worlds best "1 button Space ship shooter-looter" game (POE1) AND the worlds best ARPG hack and slash D&D-like at the same time.

If they can avoid letting POE2 turn into a POE1 re-skin.

The sentiment of "let them cook" will fall short if they only know one recipe.

exp loss is not doing anything good for the game. it isnt adding anything. there are plenty of penalties for death already. get rid of the exp loss
