it was utter rubbish indeed. also his insult at the end has been removed. GGG instead, must ban this kind of [insert insult here as u wish, iam not, that would be removed too :D ] type of people by support.

I don't have a hideout yet, still only a lvl 54 on Act 1 Cruel. I have never once tried to trade or buy with a another player by grouping or however it happens.

I don't have the patience or time to haggle or wait on other players to physically trade inventory items or deal with people who might just flat out steal from you.

If there was an AH I would be selling/buying all the time like any other game that has an AH.

AH trading is like a second game for some people. Buying low, selling high and the accumulation of wealth via trading instead of grinding crap for hours, days and months is very satisfying for many people.

As for RMT people or "gold farmers"...I leave that to people more well versed in such things to figure out.

In the end..the game is missing a huge portion of "mini-gameplay" in the form of an AH and real player driven economy. I have no interest in porting to someone's hideout or vice versa to conduct item trades/buys/sales.

saddest thing is, jonathan want this "iterations" but do zero moderation. I two weeks report ppl for scam trade - no results, scamsellers still on list and feel ok.

no one cares at all, the player was deceived during trading - social communication; zero items for sale and 80% of offline sellers - social iterations; after the deal is confirmed, the seller wants you to pay another 30% of the cost (well, just because) - healthy trading

the developers don't give a damn about the clear understanding of "economy", if you open Wikipedia and compare it with what is happening in the game - someone is clearly lying (of course Wikipedia). 10 years of waiting for the auction 1, we pass the baton of lies to Poe2 - we wait another 10 years

But many will not wait, and that is GGGs loss. Leaving players will always find a new game to spend time with, it will be hard for GGG to replace them; especially if the trading system remains as is.

I messaged over 30 sellers over the span of 2ish hours. The 30th seller finally responded to trade with me. My friend messaged over 10 sellers and the 10th one got him a trade. That took 40 minutes.

I see a good item but theyre afk. I see a good item but they are probably busy in a party. And they dont respond back because they might have forgot or its too late.

Current trading system is a joke and is just bad. This isnt the 2000s.

Give us an Auction House that manages all of this without the player inviting and trading at hideouts.
