Chaos Plants that shoot the purple orbs
1. When I kill a rare enemy, the plants - and their purple orbs - should disappear. Lately, the plants have been appearing AFTER I kill the rare enemy who spawns them. Doesn’t make sense to me.
2. The Chaos Plants should be programmed to spawn further away from a rare enemy. Too many times, I’ve been in melee, striking the bell, and the plants spawn right on top of me, the bell, and the enemy. At that point, the plants and their orbs of death are impossible to see. Instead, you could consider significantly reducing the damage output of the orbs, make them travel slower, and have them make a “warning” noise when approaching a character. Thanks. No, it make this game not that brainless

Please, for the love of god, do something with these damn orbs. Some people say skill issue, or "No, it make this game not brainless," but the orbs ARE a problem.
In certain maps with high mob count the orb spawns are near impossible to see sometimes. I just died because all 3 plants spawned inside burrowers (the chonky worms that pop up from the ground) right after I killed the rare. Couldn't see the spawn. Couldn't see the orbs. Couldn't see the pre-explode effect. Just dead. Add in the chaos and lower visibility of delirium on that forest map with rolling hills and trees that obscure the orbs too, and you have a recipe for disaster. There are several other situations like this, and some maps are more egregious than others. If I know they are there, they are fun to deal with. It's extra spicy if 2 or more rares are together that both have it, and I like spicy. The problem isn't the orbs. The problem is being able to know that there are even orbs around. A stronger audio or visual signal could fix this. Perhaps the plant itself could be more glowing and distinct, instead of the stealth grey that it currently is. |

I am ressurecting this because it's still a problem.
I'm playing a warrior. Each time these plants get spawn it's alway in set of 3 and so you have 3 orbs chasing you relentlessly for what feels eternity and just as you get rid of them and want to smack that elite another set of 3 spawns and you are on a run again. Despite having over 2k HP and some chaos resist those 3 balls will kill me if they get me. This would be ok if they would spawn just every now and then but I get them on every map I play, sometimes multiple times on single map even. And then to make thing worse, they are a common occurance on rituals. The worst experience with them I had when I got a rouge exile which was teleporting around every half second so I had extremely hard time chasing it on my warrior and then these plants were shooting at me too. It was one of the worst experiences I ever had but then it got even worse as same rouge exile spawned back in at a ritua. |

" that's the issue here. all you have to do, same with the lightning-clones that can appear with some rares, is to walk through them. nothing else. the moment they "touch" you they stop moving, and start to explode. but you have plenty of time to just keep walking and not worry. maybe you can not walk a perfectly straight line through them, depends on your movespeed and enemies around you, but like "touch them on the corner and walk away". but you'll get the idea. don't run away, that makes it a lot worse :-) you're putting in way too much effort and are making it a lot more difficult on yourself than it has to be :-) give it a shot, gl hf! side-note: many rares are big enough so if you have those purple orbs explode on one side of the enemy, you can fight said enemy on the other side and not be affected by these orbs. so like, try to walk circles around enemies, that's the best to do anyway to avoid projectiles n such. pls -add "Advanced Targeting System" to the options so we can disable accessibility-stuff -fix skills w/o movement to NOT MOVE YOU when using Attack Without Moving i.e. Ice Strike -rework: enemies instant-spells = math-game || very unfitting for meaningful combat cuz can't avoid with skill thx <3 Последняя редакция: Naztrey#9177. " What game are you playing? Must be one where the rares fight you 1v1, Every time i have to deal with the orbs, I also have to dodge 70 other things flying at me, 30 ground effects, avoid getting hit coz that will stun me and the orbs will kill me. " Thanks for advice but yeah, I know. I do that when possible but before I can get a hit on elite another set is after me so there is barely no breather there. It was ok-ish or a bit more managable on other classes I played but on warrior it really, really feels bad. And there is always other things going on as well, especialy in rituals. " dude, he's learning basic mechanics. give me some slack here trying to explain fundamental stuff. no need to write a wall of text for small hints, right? he gotta figure it out himself, all i can do is show him the fundamental idea :-) pls

" then try dash through them, i.e. with shield charge. works just as fine. nonetheless, running away from them does make it a lot worse. try not do that pls -add "Advanced Targeting System" to the options so we can disable accessibility-stuff -fix skills w/o movement to NOT MOVE YOU when using Attack Without Moving i.e. Ice Strike -rework: enemies instant-spells = math-game || very unfitting for meaningful combat cuz can't avoid with skill thx <3 Последняя редакция: Naztrey#9177. Sheld charge is not part of my build and I should not have to be forced to have it just to make one single mechanic managable.
And as said, I know the mechanics, I apreciate you trying to help as you are assuming I'm a newb (700+ hours in poe2 alone with multiple characters deep in end game during last league, curently not as far with warrior but all content on it done solo so I do know how to play), which I am not, but this has nothing to do with fundamentals or mechanics itself and has everything to do that this particular thing needs to be looked at and tweaked. Anyhow, thanks for your hints but my feedback on the mater stands and stays. |
