Announcing the First Path of Exile 2 Race Event

As I remembered in PoE you would get points for leveling up that you could spend on cosmetic stuff, so even not so brilliant speedrunners like me could get something to show of afterwards. This is a great event for very very few people. have fun streamers. bye.

Any use of 3rd party software potentially is bannable per the TOS.

Also this isn't the area to post feedback and suggestions, there is a specific forum for that.

Is there no way of retrieving items from the character you created during the race? Was looking to get a unique I don't have in standard. Just collecting things for that 100%.

I at least got something for doing some PoE1 races despite placing nowhere near the top.

But there's zero incentive whatsoever to do a PoE2 race if only the single top person of each class can win something. The pool of people capable of such a feat is so small there's no competition at all.

Why is the race so short? And on a Sunday of all days? Are these devs insane? Do they even understand real life? This is outrageous. Seriously, pure elitist nonsense.

Why not make it a one or two day event so more players have a fair shot? The first to finish will still get the prize, but at least others would have a chance too. And while we are at it, remove that ridiculous penalty. It makes no sense. If you die, you are already losing time anyway.

This change would make the in game reward more achievable for more players. Devs, get your heads out of the clouds and start listening to the community.
