Crafting -- GGG saying crafting fine made all major streamers quit

The problem is clear...

Hamstringing loot drops and giving us terrible RNG crafting forces players to Trading. Aaaand, it's abysmal atm unless one is already at the far end of the curve. Needy players don't get their <1 Div bids answered...

Streamers typically play SSF and/or HC. (for reasons...) There won't be any PoE2 streams of crafting drama.. No slamfests or Vaaling challenges on Mirror worthy gear...

IOW, PoE2 Streaming has some wind missing from its sails and it has little 'meta' to promote healthy clickwatches of drama.

HCSSF streamer can't craft? Oh well, grats on making it to T3 maps, I guess?

I can fix crafting in 1 try:

Alteration Orbs, early and often.

Crafting would not be that bad with the addition of fractures and recombination, if currency like annulment, exalts and chaos orbs and fracturing orbs would serve the crafting purpose and not currency objects that everyone saves for some lucky dude who got a triple rez / life/ whatever else you want drop...

Also their rarity is too high...I haven't found 1 annulment so far and I am ramping up T15's...Haven't found a Divine orb yet.

This is one of those things, I want GGG, Jonathan and all the devs... to take a look at Last Epoch for inspiration... I love POE2 and think it's amazing, but my god the crafting is... there? LE has perfected crafting IMO... shove the pride aside and take notes from them.

Also most of the streamers are playing LE atm... these are seasonal games, woo sa.

Kind of hard to have an opinion about what the state of crafting actually is. I mean it's obviously more like lottery crafting which is the problem. You would need to have enough items and currency to play that.

What became my main focus play wise right now is only level 90 at the moment. I haven't had a meaningful upgrade since my late 50's... and no matter what drops it's crap. There is nothing I could sell, want to use OR play crafting lotto with AND I don't have the currency to do it regardless.

I found far more exalted during the campaign than I have in mapping etc Oh and then we could get into the discussion of the currency to do anything properly just isn't there... but somehow it's flooded into the market like it's going out of style. Makes you wonder where it all came from... when the one common theme among players on forums and in game is the complete lack of currency.

Pretty much. The recombinator is a good example of it. While it is somewhat a welcome edition but the chances are funny in a bad way. I understand when you want to recomb 6 slots of suffixes and prefixes and get 0.x percent ( even then i believe the chances should be somewhat attainable) but when you want to recomb just 2 decent suffixes or prefixes and get a measly 10ish percent, that's just padding for the sake of it.

If they want to keep the chances low they should at least change to gold for paying instead of relics.

Truth is, seeing ZIZ going away was EMBARASING for poe2.
