What about deleting towers and turning the tablet system into something similar to the idols from phrecia but with limited uses. I like the idea of keeping tablets to 5-10 uses so that you cant just buy a couple busted tablets and never have to interact with the system again. Each map you run eats up one use. Cuts down a ton of the friction around pathing in the current version of the atlas.

Haven't played for a month, came back and saw this teaser. Got me all giddy, then I saw the content. Well folks, every great civilization have it's downfall, was fun while it lasted. Guess it went down hill the moment Chris left and dev stop playing the game they're making.

Towers are crap and they make more changes for towers...just delete this garbage and rework the endgame map completly.

you, sir, are describing sextants... what GGG deleted from POE1. Standard sextants had 3/4 uses and awakened sextants had 16
Tbh I don't think the changes would be as poorly reviewed if people were getting more of what they wanted out of the mapping..as it stands it's relatively long and ardurous process to juice and area to maybe get something of value. So making any part of that take longer isn't really of great benefits as things are now. I think if you actually could get useful endgame drops along the way to having a juiced area that would probably make things a bit better. I find the end game mapping system to have almost no real value...I fight bosses by buying the items needed from the currency exchange to fight them and grinding soul cores to pay for it. On Maps I might get a bunch of exalted but exalted are going down in value, soul cores go up with the divine. Not to mention probability of getting one shot from bad -fix combos on maps is high. Just very little reason to run maps beyond party XP if you have a good carry. But once your at like 92-93+ I don't think most are entirely invested in XP as their main activity in end game.
GGG please stop trying to add attack speed reduction to the warrior, this immediatly makes this item useless, you wasted time developing that mace and nobody would touch it

Lmfao these uniques are absolute dogshit. Why even bother adding them to the game, they're just going to be turned into chance shards.
Logging out. PoE 2 sucks a fat one compared to PoE. I don't foresee the game being nearly as good for at least 5 years so I guess ill be back when you guys remember what makes a game good and fix this crap.

If you guys need free workers: Make the end game good, no one cares about the people who can't beat the campaign in 2 months, they are useless losers. We need some juice

This change to towers will rather keep me away from playing the game than playing it.
Your intention after all the complains about towers was probably that you wanted to do at least something with them.I understand that you cant just pull out a new system that replaces them out of the hat.
But this is pretty much one of the worst things you could have done.
Instead of makeing them at least less annoying you are now forcing people to bother even more with them.
Would have been better to not touch them now and approach the problem later with a real solution...

BTW:
Hopefully you guys have crafting on your radar.
Im still wondering how the game with the most awesome crafting system has an successor with actually no crafting/rng currency slam only.
