I just can't really find myself liking PoE2, for several reasons

i feel like you missed the point. GGG wants us to be combo-y, yet doesn't give us accurate control of the character. that's very counter-productive for a healthy gameplay experience.

because stuff like this ^ takes the fun out of it. it's frustrating when you get killed not because of your own wrongdoing, but because it's not in your hand. yet they want us to do accurate combo-y stuff when we in reality just can't do that. the game simply does not allow us to do so.

-rework: enemies instant-spells = math-game || very unfitting for meaningful combat cuz can't avoid with skill

the big thing for me is the campaign.
its entirely too long by a massive margin, cant possibly see myself repeating it every league.

I haven't played summoner much myself, but I find the playstyle should be focused on actively supporting the minions with your skills, actively using minion skills and not just walking halt-afk behind them while they kill the mobs.

Where's necromancer? Infernalist is too forced down someone elses dream-class path and the Lich has no spirit nodes.

I'd accept lich but it needs some SPIRIT.

Why not ? U had the choise in poe1 what type of build u wanne play.Its not all about "the strongest" build,sometimes i choose a smooth build over a 2 screenwide clear.

OMG, this is exactly what's happening with Parry Disengage. I gave up Parry because of this reason. xD

OMG, this is exactly what's happening with Parry Disengage. I gave up Parry because of this reason. xD


yea i'm still hoping they'll add a setting in the option "advanced targeting system" so that ppl like us that wanna disable that accessibility stuff, can just do so on our own. flexibility, adjustability and diversity ftw!

This is correct. In PoE 1 you have so many builds, some broken yes, but you can almost make anything work. Righteous fire and minion build can be walking simulators but they are not as strong as some of the more click intensive zoomers.

Also PoE 1 enables playing with mouse only, something which is extremely difficult in PoE 2 since everything and every mob snapshots you and can kill you in one second. I like playing a bit afk sometimes and I also feel like if you are somehow physically impaired you cannot play PoE2 at all. It is like dark souls but an ARPG.

They added 100 new support gems but still I feel like only 10 ish builds are viable and by viable I mean playable. Not enjoyable.

Pacing or time investment in POE2 is probably one of the biggest problems the game currently has going for a slower heavier and more meaningful combat system does not fit well with having to restart the campaign every 3 months / every league and makes the reset feel way worse than it should, i do not want to replay this campaign once, twice, twenty more times with minor adjustments as it currently stands.

It takes too long to beat and feels way too drawn out and i don't know the solution to making a harder and grittier version of POE feel worth the time investment when its on loop, most people wouldn't consider playing an entire souls game again but this game fails to feel as good as they do from start to finish and is even less rewarding so i don't see myself coming back to try again.
