Threads like this is why I always think they should do nerfs consistently and early rather than saving them for one huge doom bomb, the amount of hyperbole coming out from players that never should have experienced the game in a way where it clearly wasn't intended to is pretty ridiculous :p

This is why they threw people a bone who didn't want to start over. Sure, go ahead and use your "standard" characters. But the devs knew what was coming. Everything about your character has to be replaced/rebuilt.
I was a little salty until I realized none of it matters. It's not even close to the released version and they needed data.

People will build new classes, and if anything now is the time to experiment!

Do you know how many of their ORIGINAL player base from poe1 is upset with this direction? They are doing a diablo/blizz fail speedrun by alienating their original playerbase.

I've seen more responsive and less clunky gameplay in games made by Grade 5 students on scratch.

The fkn continual movement of the character is 100% going to give someone a seizure at some point or some motion sickness issues and I hope they sue.

This game is a tragedy compared to POE1.

They literally had 1 job. - make poe1 with new maps, new trees, new skills, better graphics = instant fucking success.

but no, we want next gen shit gameplay that has not worked for ANY ARPG IN THE PAST DECADE. Linking movement into abilities FEELS BAD.

I do not want my character to move in random fkn directions because I decided to use a skill, it sucks!

No flask variations really, life and mana.... so much removed from the game. This is just.... I have no words.
I have come to the conclusion that I do not like this game. I don't want to waste my time being frustrated or spending time in game running in circles trying to kill. If I wanted to play dark souls I would. I prefer ARPG. This is not what I like or want to play. Some are into it good for them. But coming from D2/POE this is not anywhere related to those. This is more Dark Souls, Elden Ring style.

Na , LE pays attention. I can almost guarantee their reading the forums over here, taking notes on what NOT TO DO in their video game. tbh, LE has been pretty spot on each patch. Not shilling. but out of the 3 big ARPG studios atm, 11th hour games seems to be those most competent atm. D4 is a joke, PoE2 just turned into a dumpster fire, not like the bar is really high though lol

This is also very bad design for a souls like game. Where we should have combos, engaging combat, and use dodge and positioning.

Sorry but it should take combos to kill white mobs. Rares should take 1 min to kill. Bosses should take 3-4 mins.

Last Epoch, PoE 1, Diablo etc are zoom zoom fast games. PoE 2 vision is a souls like next gen ARPG that should be compared to No Rest for the Wicked. PoE 2 is a beautiful game that should have much slower more mechanic combat.
