and clicked on view twitch rewards. Then my deer got updated into the game.

Thank you! After clicking View Rewards, it got added to my account. It wasn't added because I can see it from the timestamp and I had everything connected and claimed the reward on twitch side 2 days ago. Something is wrong with this.
