The only thing this update has shown me is

Haven't been able to play since the last patch but does that at least help somewhat? To be honest I think it's a fairly good game but there are things in this game like the way ascendency points are handled that make me doubt I'm going to enjoy it on an ongoing basis. No way I feel like going through that tedious dreg every single time and irritating as hell that it's tied to gaining those abilities.

Even though this has a stronger following now, I really feel in the long run that out of the newer arpgs No Rest for the Wicked may eventually "win out".

Still a good game just disappointing is all. I think they'll tweak this some more based off feedback though.
I'm with you...

I'm just... not having fun. Don't think I've ever quit on day 2 of any league, but I'm about there.
Dude ive literally played every POE1 league since closed beta, at least a little bit and in the last 2 leagues a lot, pushed like 5 characters to level 100 in settlers alone.

This leagues I quit after act 1, the game isnt really even difficult technically I just feel like my character is a white monster. I play ARPG games for a sense of progression and building up a unique character. That feeling of getting stronger is why these games are so addicting, POE2 just has no sense of real progression in its current state.

And before people come at me saying I didnt give the game enough of a try, I knew what I was getting into. In .1 I wasnt super warm on it but I did play 4 builds to maps and one of them I did all the content at difficulty 4 even Simulacrum which was pretty challenging. I didn't love the leveling in .1 but the game was shiny and new and I admit i liked playing a few of the more broken things because I honestly found stat stacking, herald of ice chains, and spark pretty satisfying even if they were admittedly broken and needed to be toned down.

I know people will shit on POE1 players that we "just like to zoom zoom" but I play HC, SSF, Ruthless, and everything in between. I can find a lot of things enjoyable about these games; not just brain dead blasting in the SC trade mode. The thing is that even in Ruthless there is a meaningful sense of progression, that progression just does not exist in POE2 for me.

I feel you about the sense of progression. At least in POE1 if you kept dying in an area, at least your gems would be leveling up, still empowering you somehow. With this game you just come back to die some more and that's about it.

The only thing that the patch has shown me is that the majority of poe sub users hate any form of challenge, and will take to crying before trying to just improve. The game is no harder than it was last season, and the bosses are all typically easier.

[Removed by Support] keep thinking the "challenge" is the problem.

its not.

the game isnt hard.
its fucking slow and boring.

a game should be fun from the start.. this game isnt fun for the first 10-15 hours.

the whole campaign sucks, but the first 3 acts are inexcusably bad.

Yap, boring as hell.
