I suspect why so many people complain about poe2

I played Warrior in "Season 1," AKA 0.1, and I loved the campaign pace. I wasn’t aware that other classes got a "PoE 1" style and could do the rushing—I assumed everyone was at that point. I still think it was a near-perfect start for early access.
I must recognize that mobs were somehow beefier this time around. However, I do think that before the HP nerfs, it was fine. When it wasn’t fine, it was due to the presence of too many mobs, which created a PoE 1-style environment, but I had no AoE.
I hope GGG holds firm and provides its own vision without listening to all the loud voices, even if they somehow do have some valid points. In fact, I wish there were two modes: "Desired by Developers" and a more "casual" one, just as they did in PoE 1 with that special mode where drops were fewer.
So, in short, I can relate to what you’re saying, and I hope to play this initial version that the developers have in mind—not this rushy, "take all mobs from the map and kill them with flashy AoE" game. But hey, if that’s not the case, I’m okay with it. Still, it’s a bit ridiculous that even streamers—who supposedly put food on their tables by playing this product created by others—can behave like a bunch of kids who aren’t happy. When you say things like "the worst state PoE has ever been in," you’re just using emotions, and the validity of your points drops to zero.

Yeah I want to creep across the map at 1 pixel per second and take 10 seconds killing each white mob that roams onto my screen. That's the kind of game everyone wants to play.

Same experience with warrior. In fact when i heard everybody saying warrior is so bad i tried sorceress and archer , and found out they are boring to me, went back to warrior. Agreed on most points. I think to reconcile both visions the only way is 2 different leagues/difficulties.
the problem is the character has a POE2 design, slow supposed to use combos etc

the mobs are on a POE1 design, super fast swarmy.

saying tiptoe forward is ludicrous the mobs rush you as soon as theres aggro.

If a player is constantly backpeddling and dodge rolling to survive packs of white mobs then there is a design problem

The pacing is way off. the combo based combat and balance will never work while the basic concepts are in conflict with each other.

see it as an equation, you cant reduce the player speed, power and keep the mobs the same as POE1 and expect there to be the slow combo satisfying combat they aim for

all endgame will ever be is one button clear screen meta builds. The reason is you have to kill the mobs before you are swarmed to death, and the on death effects just make the problem of being surrounded even worse

balance and feel will always be a nightmare and i feel unachievable unless they address the mobs speed and bring it inline with the players
