What happened?

I have not read through the patch notes or watched many videos until this afternoon. I know I never played Path of Exile until EA PoE2 came out a few months ago. I feel in love with the game, so much so I bought tabs, skins to show support for GGG.

After playing a few hours yesterday me and my friend that played hours just quit. It's not that we were not killing bosses and being sucessful, it just felt bad, like we never got stronger. Act 1 was what made me fall in love with the game, now Act 1 is what is going to make me wait and see if I will play this game ever again.


TLDR: GGG pulled a D4 patch and ruined their game before it could get going imo. Hoping GGG doesn't stay this course as PoE2, those that are enjoying game, I am truly glad, however players such as myself are not happy it appears.
