I played Ritualist

Rake bleed build, not terrible. Decided to go against the grain for fun and pick Ritualist. For those who don't know its the other Huntress ascendancy.

Like all bleed builds, heavily reliant on Herald of Blood for clear.

Today I put 2 and 2 together and realize Herald of Blood destroys the corpses. Therefore, I cannot use the Ritualist's signature sacrifice ability because there is no corpse.

I guess that's why you have the option to spec into using it on yourself?

Also, do you gain anything by using it on a minion with corpse pact? Or does it have to be a rare mob corpse?

Honestly your not missing much with this node I feel like 18 seconds isn't enough but having 3 rings is super nice

I feel like the ring/effect nodes are the real juice, and will allow for something crazy to be done

You guys are def right, the jewelry stuff is the highlight of the ascendancy, not the sacrifice. But it still seems like a huge oversight that corpse destruction disables the ability entirely. The time on it is way too short as well. Maybe a ghost that you could click on/run through after a rare dies would be better? I dunno

Is there any way to tie the skill orb that gives you a chance to not consume corpses to this ability? I havent looked into this at all and was just thinking out loud.
