Yriel's Fostering does not let you use two companions

Huntress:

Trusted kinship works if you activate and insert gems seperatly.
Yriel's fostering does not work with this method either. You get the "maximum companions number reached".

I am having the same issue. Yriels Fostering does nothing.

I was able to fix my issue by logging into my client with keyboard/mouse (I use Steam Deck to play). I was able to select both companions without issue with mouse controls.

Logged back in with regular controller mode and still have both companions.

do they stack the keystone and armor?

I can confirm that this works. On PC using Xbox controller Yriel's Fostering does not initially let you summon two companions (with the error mentioned in the first post), but logging in with KB/M makes it possible.

FWIW it would also be good for GGG to define what a "Companion Type" is.
